Chippy tea - what's your order?

Sat on DS2s floor waiting for him to go to sleep and thinking of the chippy tea I'll be having shortly but can't decide what I want. Inspire me with your favourites!

Cheesy chips and gravy, battered sausage.

Pizza crunch is half a pizza, dipped in battwr and chucked in the fryer! So unhealthy but so good!!

Some places do but without the batter, so the pizza base/crust absorbs all the fryer oil and its even better imo...

Either a fish supper or pizza crunch both with salt and chippy sauce.

Fish, chips and curry sauce with plenty of salt and vinegar.

What’s a pizza crunch??

I used to love a chip roll with a cab of Pepsi when I was a kid.

Now it’s cod and chips with too much salt, vinegar , mushy peas and a pickled onion. I make my own tartar sauce and have that too.

I share my fish and chips with Dd as it’s a meal that I cannot complete. So so stodgy!

obviously scraps anywhere that understands the concept and doesn't just look at you gone out!!

Scotland. Vegetarian haggis!!! & deep fried Mars bar!

Ah I've heard my DH mention him having one years ago on a night out in Scotland but didn't know what they were called

What I especially like about our chippy is that, although I probably only go there once every month, the owner looks up and mouths, 'The usual?' when I come through the door. She's amazing - holds everyone's complex orders in her head.

Fishcake or battered sausage, chips and heaps of scraps! Oh yum! Not many chippies here in Scotland seem to do scraps.

I'm doing the Fast 800 diet. I don't know why the fuck I read this entire thread. But I did.

Spam fritter and chips. Lots of salt, no vinegar. Scraps.

So many great options! I normally go for homemade fishcake, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce!

Although where I live, all the chippies sell obese food aswell so my usual is crispy chilli beef

This thread is such an education! I’ve learnt a whole new language. I live about as south as you can (in the uk), I think the further north you go the more inventive you get when it comes to chippies.
