Chippy tea - what's your order?

Sat on DS2s floor waiting for him to go to sleep and thinking of the chippy tea I'll be having shortly but can't decide what I want. Inspire me with your favourites!

Battered veggie sausage, chips and mushy peas please

Chicken & mushroom pie, chips & a gherkin.

Large lightly battered fish with chips, gravy and tartare sauce xx

I love a pea fritter.

Fish, chips, pea fritter, pickled onion, salt on everything with a pool of salt and vinegar on the side for dipping, tomato sauce, Mayo, thick white bread and butter and a cup of tea... hungry now

Cod, mushy peas and a can of fizzy Vimto.

Battered sausage. Small chips. Maybe some curry sauce. I haven't had one in about 4 years. Just eaten a salad for my dinner. I can dream!

At DHs mum and dad's local chippy they do something called a cheese and onion fry. It's basically the filling from a greggs cheese and onion pasty breaded and deep fried 😍😍😍😋😋😋

Oh and a lilt. My chippie is the only place where you can get a can of lilt. Another dream floating away...

If I get fish, I have a cod and chips, with scraps, and curry sauce. If they sell tartare sauce I get that but my local ones don't do it.

If I dont fancy fish I get a chicken Kiev pizza and a tub of garlic dip.

Smoked Sausage Supper absolutely drowned in vinegar.

Irn Bru or Cherry Coke to wash it down

Haddock, chips and mushy peas.

Hand full of almonds, 3 carrots red pepper hummus and 5 oat cakes with reduce fat pâté

When I lived in the North East of England, cheese savoury and chips.

Back in Scotland, tattie fritter supper from the Chip Inn (gluten free).

Chips and lashings of mushy peas (usually double portion) with salt and vinegar!

Oh my god so many good options! Chicken shish kebab though? That's not a chippy tea!

Our chippie sells the usual fish/chip options plus kebabs, pizzas, burgers, parmos.

From the chippy I just have scallops with lots of salt and vinegar

Breaded fishcakes (round here a lot of them are in batter, it's vile), pickled egg, chips, curry sauce.

You must be in the north - are they sliced fish and potato in batter? A fish scallop - food of the gods!

Literally just this moment finished off haddock and chips. Loads of salt and vinegar.

Also very fond of potato fritters, battered sausages and donner meat.

Those of you who like a pickled egg, what do they taste like? I'm always intrigued but never dare get one!
