I wonder how many who are advocating people spend Christmas on their own away from their families (they can pontificate about bubbles as much as they like but people WILL end up on their own) will sacrifice 8 hours of their own Christmas Day to volunteer for the Samaritans who normally receive 11"000 calls on Christmas Day in non Covid years. (400"000 calls in the whole of December alone) I bet i could count how many of them would.......on one hand!!

Doubt you'd need to do much counting. For them, this is performance. Pretending you give a shit about anyone but yourself in a way that doesn't affect your life at all or makes your life easier.

The people over on the CV forum are wetting themselves with glee hoping the Covid vaccination is mandatory and people refusing the vaccine should be locked away.

It doesnt reflect well on MN IMO.

It’s all very well Qantas insisting on vaccinations but as Australia is closed until 2022 they will probably no longer be operating then.

Plus the new Green Agenda means that air travel will probably be very expensive and discouraged for the ordinary person.

Had a busy few days decorating. Hard work but have had no time to worry about current affairs. Quite a relief.
