My unexciting news - i have the man from the utility company coming to fit my smart meter today. I need to move the sofa. I also have a zoom call scheduled at the same time so I really need to get home but all I can think about is a huge mug of steaming Yorkshire tea....

Morning! Bright, sunny, and cold here today. My ears feel slightly frozen after the school run. I should have put my fleecey headband thingy on under my helmet.

Now about to do some yoga, but the trouble is I have to decide on a video first. I miss going to a class and just doing as you’re told!

I have the theme tune from ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’ stuck in my head.

And now all of you do too.

With the supermarket shop coming tomorrow, I have ordered ready-made sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. HEIGHT of laziness and quite un-green but kind of excited?

I have made a new cover for ddog’s bed. Ddog is ignoring it completely and is on the sofa instead.

DGD has found the ring that she was so upset at losing. Her DF carefully searched along her route to school with no luck. It turned up this morning in the pile of washing on her bedroom floor.

My window cleaners have just been.

I asked to drop them to every other month, but it was only a month since they last came.

I think that's a 'thing' with window cleaners

I have been reading these threads on my lunchbreak working from hom and have finally taken the unexciting plunge to join in, hope thats OK!

Cooler wind when i went for my early run today, but not cold at 9°.
Went to get a baguette for lunch, none left as was too late so bought a fougasse and a goats cheese pizza slice for DH as a surprise addition to the left overs.

I also ended up buying DHs advent calendar at the wine shop, just opposite the bakery.. But will have to go back later with the car to discreetly bring it home and hide it I dont know where.

Must carry on sitting down after all that excitement!

I’ve just balanced two of my pens on their ends on my desk. I’m so taken with how this looks that I’m doing to store ALL my pens like this from now on.

I’ve been on a teams call for 2 hours and 41 minutes

DS has those standard ‘magic’ gloves for winter, they’re a dull navy colour so today I found some yellow gold thread and did a few little stars on them. I don’t know how to embroider, but they turned out nice.

Day four of annual leave today for me. Met my sister for a walk and we ended up with soggy feet. We really are not cut out for this exercise lark.
