Good. His arrogance and refusal to apologise (ever, for anything) has come back to bite him.

It is not kind to the Jewish community who are being used as a tool here

Luciana Berger was treated despicably. Corbyn gave her no support. He really showed his true colours there.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 30/10/2020 00:37

Oh dear it’s back to making plans for the revolution and over throwing the establishment dinner parties for Corbyn and Co

The left have done this all to themselves with the help of Twitter

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 00:39

Noble giraffe. Clearly you didn't read the leaked report that said “many staff, including GLU [governance and legal unit] staff and senior staff with responsibility for managing and overseeing GLU, were bitterly opposed to the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, and seem to have been demotivated, or largely interested in work that could advance a factional agenda”

@clairep20 you are very much mistaken. He has called black people "pica* with watermelon smiles" and has written that one of Africa's greatest tragedies is no longer being ruled by whites.

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 00:41

ItsAlwaysSunny. Its not 'The Left' Im worried about. Its the gaping divide between the rich and the poor in this country that concerns me. And that would have been addressed under 'Corbyn & Co'

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 30/10/2020 00:45

Oh right only you and other Corbyn supporters are concerned about the divide between rich and poor and other social issues

noblegiraffe · 30/10/2020 00:46

So you think it is fine to bully and threaten a heavily pregnant Jewish woman out of the Labour Party and for the leader to do nothing about it?

Ok. We obviously have different standards of good leadership and actual humanity.

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 00:50

Noblegiraffe. Read the leaked report. And read back what I stated. Nothing I have said supports bullying anyone. Stop trying to put a twist on things to suit your agenda.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 30/10/2020 00:50

I’m no longer worried about the left damaging the Labour Party (well not for some time) as they keep doing it to themselves Ken Livingston, Rebecca Long-Bailey and now Saint Jeremy oh and all of them have something in common ....

MrsNotNice · 30/10/2020 00:50

It’s not more weird for Jeremy to have so many questionable encounters no.

He was heavily involved in Anti-war campaigning with much focus on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict which is something Tony Blair is heavily invested in at the moment.

You clearly have a problem with his approach, on trying to engage with the Palestinian people and those affected on that side of the conflict.

He has immersed himself for a period of time trying to reach out to all sides involved.. something Tomy Blair is currently doing after realising that bombing people’s children to death doesn’t give him that heroic image. Except Corbyn put genuine effort to make both sides of the conflict feel acknowledged.

It is NOT coincidental for someone who made a historic attempt to do that, to get accused of taking the wrong side.

All those involved in conflict resolution would tell you that it is veryyyyy easy to get blamed if taking sides..

If one of the major issues within the Jewish communities is being denied a homeland, then Corbyn made a great contribution to address that..

I say that as a Palestinian whose grandad lost his home to settlements and lived his life homeless and in UN refugee camps..

Yes Corbyn made people like me feel acknowledged and so that OPENS a chance to hear the other side of the conflict.. and hopefully end the actual problem and get to the bottom of it.

Because of him me and manyyyy have warmed up to the fact that he sees me as a complete human being with actual rights and needs and an equal.. and so I must hear him out.

Can you imagine the amount of probkems this type of inclusion prevents that we are taking for granted?

But no.. apologists just want to give fake pretences that help them stay popular and not willing to take the risk of actually caring.

So no, it’s not a shock that he has that much accusations to navigate though.

It’s pretty naive to judge politicians by the amount of unproven accusations they have received.

———

Having said all of that, yes his leadership style is questionable. I don’t agree with everything he does.. but being an anti Semite isn’t why me, or you, or most people are against his leadership.

And to tarnish him with that brush is just manipulative.

BlushingBrightly · 30/10/2020 00:51

if JC does set up his own party he will have a million members by Christmas

Won't happen. He prefers being the rebel within a party to leading one. Never looked comfortable doing it.

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 00:52

ItsAlways Sunny well the last Socialist Labour manifesto which was fully costed and supported by over 60 eminent economists certainly documented a way out of poverty for many. Yes.

Kokeshi123 · 30/10/2020 00:53

I don't think criticising Israel is anti-semitic per se and I disagree with quite a lot of things that Israel does. I do think that blatently holding Israel to completely different standards to every other country is very often anti-semitic. The Labour left has done this in spadefuls.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 30/10/2020 00:53

No he won’t

He will have a few loyal followers most have moved on as many accept be failed as a leader of the party

Blackberrycream · 30/10/2020 00:54

Luciano Berger was interviewed today. She has spoken many times of her direct experience and also has said that Jeremy Corbyn was never in contact with her to check on her. He was the leader at the time of interference in investigations noted in the report. Actions speak loudly.

However it is lovely that these posters have turned up to put us to rights for our lack of intellect and susceptibility to press manipulation. Lovely also that they are showing concern for the Jewish Community who have also been terribly manipulated by the press ‘whipping up fear’ also. Long-standing Labour members such as Frank Field must have also been manipulated by the press when they felt the need to stand down in protest. I think at this point whatever is shown to have happened these Jeremy Corbyn fanatics will turn away and deny deny. The one consolation is that their hold on the party seems to be loosening.
I don’t use the word fanatic lightly. I find it quite disturbing how they can’t see fault at all. All leaders are up for criticism. That is healthy.

Socialist Labour Manifesto what are you talking about the Socialist Labour Party

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 30/10/2020 00:56

Oh here they come ...

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 00:57

Unfortunately Jeremy is unlikely to set up his own party, myself and many other wish he would. A party led by Corbyn certainly could go a long way to undermine Starmer in the next GE. He was after all the most popular Labour Leader with the membership for a century. However Jeremy believes in the Socialist roots of Labour and his affiliation to the Unions is strong. So I doubt he would want to undermine the LP.

ThisnThat1 · 30/10/2020 00:57

Israel have appalling human rights

noblegiraffe · 30/10/2020 00:57

unproven accusations

Not unproven.

but being an anti Semite isn’t why me, or you, or most people are against his leadership

Actually it was a major factor in me not voting Labour in 2019. Couldn’t put my x in the antisemitic box.

Blackberrycream · 30/10/2020 00:59

@bbbbbbbbbccccc

Noblegiraffe. Read the leaked report. And read back what I stated. Nothing I have said supports bullying anyone. Stop trying to put a twist on things to suit your agenda.
And this is the weird double speak of a fanatic.

It happened.
The police were involved and felt she needed protection at the conference.
She has told her story several times.

And yet you say ‘ nothing I have said supports bullying anyone ‘. Well how about you stand up and do condemn it. Snakey double speak.

noblegiraffe · 30/10/2020 01:00

A party led by Corbyn certainly could go a long way to undermine Starmer in the next GE.

A party led by Corbyn certainly managed to undermine the Labour Party in the last GE.

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 01:03

BlackberryCream. Its you that has 'snakes double speak'. I have pointed out the leaked report whereby it was clear that antisemitism allegations were not dealt with quickly because those who were not supportive of Corbyn deliberately slowed down the administration.

bbbbbbbbbccccc · 30/10/2020 01:04

No Noblegiraffe Starmer and his BREXIT REF 2 managed to undermine the Labour party
