DH made part of the chicken run which goes with the new silkie chicken house.

We are going to have spaghetti bolognese for dinner.

DH just came from the market with 5,4 kg of limes. He loves his lemonade and will probably makes some jam, too.

That's an awful lot of limes but lovely to have in lemonade and jam - my DS loves limes and lemons and just eats them like they were oranges though we have to be careful with quantities as DS eats all the fruit in sight. He'ld be over the moon with 5.4kg.

@Taswama it's a tough choice as I'm not working at the moment but I think I'm going to say no. I'm a contractor and I have a few other interviews coming up so fingers crossed I'll get one of those jobs. If I don't find a contract before Christmas I'll then regret saying no to this one! Might be able to stall a final decision until after the weekend.

KoalaRabbit those chickens are so pretty. Do you have any koalas or rabbits?

Thanks Leather We have an indoor rabbit who is with DS on the sofa a lot and DS also has a secret collection (as he's 13) of a 3 foot koala and a lot of pandas

Also have a cat who is scared of the rabbit and oblivious to the chickens.

Added coffee to my online shop. Accidentally also added some ice cream. Then some more ice cream, because there was an offer.

This is the cat, she'd just taken my pillow space and was working on knocking DH's pillow off with her bum to get the whole pillow space for her and she succeeded. She's just howling now as DH is playing the piano and not with her. Selfish.

There’s a fly that keeps landing on me. I don’t like it.

I couldn't be bothered to cook for just me so had porridge for tea.

I have made a to-do list for the weekend. I may have been a little over-ambitious.

Me, it's my day off work tomorrow and my list is longish.

My heated drying rack arrived today. I am pleased with it.

Thanks Leather I always get told off by DD if I don't put a picture of the cat up as the cat will be sad. She's 15 and fairly blind now and just lives downstairs with a baby gate to stop the rabbit jumping on her.

One more day to half term here DD has been given details of Duke of Edinburgh and wants to do it, she already does running each morning so that bit is sorted just the volunteering and skills now though covid makes volunteering a challenge.

That decaff tea and orange club biscuit has made my stomach really rumbly.
Really very loud.

DH got me a Muller Light 0% fat chocolate and orange discounted to 15p and he had one too. We both agreed he was robbed. Even the annoying fly isn't interested

I finished module 2 of my online course at 8:30 pm.

I stewed some plums earlier and will be eating some with cornish ice cream while watching the Trump-Biden debate.

I have a rumble tum too (can't be arsed to look up which PP was initially afflicted) however, have no idea why and a bit pissed off.

In ye olde days, any sign of "Rumbly Tum" was dosed with shot of Brandy / Whiskey; I love my parents.

Finished binge watching Homeland.
And finished knitting a baby blanket.
New yarn arrived :)
