Another example. And I'm picking up on one of the least offensive posts. Inciting each other to come on MN and incite bother.

Well yes, but every one of those posters who stayed, knew it was there and stayed - tacitly approved of racism. And ableism. And discrimination. And lots of other isms.

What, like the ableism on here? Like all the other issues on here yet you haven’t left? People can use a site and stick to the areas they like and not leave just because of a few arseholes.

I've been around long enough on these type of threads, whether it be racism or other, to know that that never is usually the case.

I hope they do destroy users' personal information. There's nowhere on the site that allows you to deregister, which I attempted to do when I realised it wasn't a site I wanted to be associated with. The email I sent to the administrators to deregister me and destroy my details was ignored.

I joined out of curiosity a couple of months ago, I am in a different time zone so by the time I read an M&H thread, I would find many deleted posts and lots of questioning of MNHQ's policy. I fell for the hints in posts about MC and joined. I didn't stay long because the Justine thread put me off. I contacted the admin and received a reply saying they would delete my account. This was in August.

Simon, I would imagine that MNHQ already have screen shots. The same people were singling out a moderator on here, pictures, Linkedin profile, personal information, remarks about their appearance. Anyone could have tracked them down, and I think that is what the aim was, to dox and cause them trouble. Very nasty stuff.

Helena - you were asked on Reddit whether you were enjoying the racist posts on MC and said you were ignoring them. That makes you complicit.

@SimonJT I'm sorry you've had to share some of the racism you saw over there. It should be enough for people to say it happened and not have to provide receipts. I hope as someone who has experienced racism, it hasn't been triggering for you.

As EchoCardioGran said, they posted everything about him, all personal details.
To go to those lengths meant there was a big problem over there. It wasn't deleted.

MN isn't perfect but any post revealing someone like that would've been zapped straightaway.

Good! There was a bunch of nasty racists on there. It was horrible.
