Morning, everyone.

Yes, just to confirm, we've decided to take a break from hosting further Harry and Meghan threads on Mumsnet.

The H&M threads are moderation intensive, and they take up a disproportionate amount of our resources.

We've tried our best to moderate them but they just descended into guideline-breaking speculation and eventually we had to close several members' accounts.

We also received a number of complaints from Mumsnetters that there's more going on in these threads than meets the eye.
We're aware that there was a fair amount of off-site trolling going on - much of which was related to the Harry and Meghan threads.

Given that these threads generate a lot of reports, and that they attract disruptive trolls, we hope you'll agree that they're not essential to the site right now - so please do work with us by not starting any more H&M threads for the time being.
