He's just a terrible old wanker with extreme right wing views is he?

I don't know very much about him apart from he comes from the famous Fox family, he was married to Billie Piper, he was in the TV series Lewis alongside Kevin Whately, and he made a racist arse of himself on Question Time last year.

So what's he up to now? Has he gone even more off the rails?

terrible old wanker

Not ‘old’ - otherwise pretty spot on

@OutComeTheWolves

It's interesting that *@AnnaMagnani* says he got involved with f4j. I just came on to say he reminds me of literally every middle aged divorced dad in my town who seem to spend their 40s and 50s getting angrier at the rest of the world. The type who's anger and sense of injustice seems to be directly proportionate to how happy their ex partner is now they're no longer together.

I also find it weird that the majority of his outbursts are closely followed by an apology or retraction.

He is mirroring my ex to a disturbing T. Or vice versa. Anyone who has been the victim of a narcissist will see many similarities.

Why is he not on Celebrity Gogglebox anymore? The bit where he was lusting over Nigella licking her spoon was sick making.

Has anyone got his address? I'd like to send him a bottle of shampoo - I'll pick one up next time I'm in Sainsbury's Grin

IntermittentParps · 05/10/2020 11:47

Massive midlife crisis. Compounded by the fact that his acting career doesn't seem to have been exactly stellar.

TBF to the guy, if it IS partly a midlife crisis, maybe he'll get over it and reform himself. I can't quite see him making waves on the political scene in the meantime.

VinylDetective · 05/10/2020 11:54

Given that reaction is exactly why Nigella licks her spoon, I think it’s a bit unfair to hold that against him!

MissEliza · 05/10/2020 15:34

He seems to have completely lost the plot recently.

AuntMasha · 05/10/2020 15:45

It must be awful coming from a background where he’s born into every privilege in the book.

He is a middle aged , not very intelligent man, who appears to have drug and alcohol issues. He is very unhappy and is being used by right wingers to push an agenda.
The irony of him boycotting Sainsbury’s (because of their stance on Black History Month) is not lost. He is the same person who admitted that he hadn’t realised that there were Sikhs in the British Army during WW1. So it stands to reason that he wouldn’t know that African -and Caribbean soldiers fought for Britain in both wars
This is exactly why Black History Month is required

nibdedibble · 05/10/2020 15:52

Grin at the tiny violin

I think it must be hard coming from that family and not having the beauty, not having the talent, his ex still eclipses him, and I can only guess what shit he’s taken about his music. So along come the ex-LeaveUK backers and the ex-BBC PR gurus and bingo, he’s got himself a bit of a ‘set’ who will let him feel important and rant on and random women will fawn a bit and he’s created his enemies who don’t even care about him. We’re all worse off. Not his fault really, he’s just a MRA prick who likes the attention: it’s the ones who are backing him now that we need to keep all our attention on.

IntermittentParps · 05/10/2020 15:54

Who's using him? Not being snarky; genuine question!

There are three threads here with names and affiliations. It’s unlikely to be totally accurate but he himself has said where his £5m funding has come from.

IntermittentParps · 05/10/2020 16:08

Thank you! I'll have a read, depressing though it no doubt is...

Happyheartlovelife · 05/10/2020 16:36

He was in a damn good film called the hole!

Conniethesensible · 05/10/2020 22:00

He’s done a full Katie Hopkins.
Don’t feed the trolls.

corythatwas · 05/10/2020 23:18

Scary to see how he's aged- apparently he's only 41. Wasn't a bad actor to start with, had all the opportunities he could wish for and has completely gone to pieces. Nothing left except anger and incoherence and whatever it is he takes.

Aridane · 06/10/2020 00:08

It’s a bit tedious (and defamatory) that he’s flinging around the paedophile insult

Aridane · 06/10/2020 00:09

The ‘you,call me out as a racist and I’ll call,you a paedo’

AlpineSnow · 06/10/2020 08:54

He's unhinged to be randomly calling people paedophiles

IntermittentParps · 06/10/2020 09:30

NO WAY Shock
Seriously?

corythatwas · 06/10/2020 10:54

42, actually. Born in May 1978. Which means I am (if only just) old enough to be his mother. Imho he looks more like he might be my grandfather.

Saucery · 06/10/2020 11:04

His father had an epiphany in Blackpool when younger and changed the self-destructive path he was on. Maybe LF should take a leaf out of his book.

Some people do talk bollocks. Plenty of 42 year olds look like this.

In his Performance days he started to go off the rails a bit. Went to Blackpool (acting at one of the theatres), found God. As you do.
IntermittentParps · 06/10/2020 14:16

I did not know that. Thanks!

Disfordarkchocolate · 06/10/2020 14:17

Used to like him, now think he needs some sort of intervention and counselling.
