Colour catchers. No need to be as picky with separating colours when doing the laundry.

Very sad (on my behalf) but this...

Electric heated clothes airer.

Have 3 kids, never had a dryer, and this has revolutionised my life in winter months...

You did say it could be boring 😁.

DinosApple · 03/08/2020 22:17

Frozen ready chopped onions. Game changer.

justanotherneighinparadise · 03/08/2020 22:18

Going low carb. It’s been remarkable for a thousand health niggles.

OhioOhioOhio · 03/08/2020 22:19

2 duvets on my bed

chunkyrun · 03/08/2020 22:19

Borrow box. Easily listen to 2/3 audiobooks a week completely free. Just need your library card

My garlic crushy thingy.

Magnetic wooden toaster tongs - revelation

Sittingonthefence83 · 03/08/2020 22:23

A long cable to charge my phone so I can comfortably use it in bed without having to lean over to one side Grin

Sal1977 · 03/08/2020 22:24

Yes! I was just going to say wooden magnetic toaster tongs as well!

bluebluezoo · 03/08/2020 22:24

Shower cabinet.

Always hated showers. Dancing around in the cold trying to keep warm under drips of hot water. Never got properly warm.

Moved house. Had those all singing cabinet jobs. Looked awful, but we thought will do until we can put walk in showers.

Bloody hell. Revolutionary. Warms up in seconds and now can have lovely long hot showers in a steamy cabinet.

Currently sourcing newer versions. Would never go back to walk in or normal shower enclosures.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/08/2020 22:33

Having a phone charger downstairs and upstairs!

Bar soap - so much nicer than all those plastic bottles of gook.

Chillys bottles

Moving winter clothes into under bed storage - it's taken me more years than I dare to admit to realise what a big difference this makes. Thanks, lockdown!😁

Mac Ruby Woo lipstick. Having never really worn lipstick, I'm a total convert.

I've made some little bags with waterproof lining for food storage, and also some little washable eco face wipes. Spectacularly pleased with both!

How can wooden tongs be magnetic?

And what's a shower cabinet?
Too lazy to go and Google

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 03/08/2020 22:35

The AddWash door on my washing machine.

Theforest · 03/08/2020 22:36

Another vote for frozen chopped onion.

LunaNorth · 03/08/2020 22:39

White vinegar spray for getting rid of limescale.
Magic sponges.
Bose Bluetooth speaker.
BBC sounds app.
Calm app.

It’s completely enclosed so the heat can’t escape. Mine can get up to 44 degrees!

The tongs have a little metal bit at the top so they can be stored on your toaster.
Pascha · 03/08/2020 22:41

Vending machine at the local farm. I can get all sorts of nice food goodies without setting foot inside a shop. The kids love it.

Lottle · 03/08/2020 22:48

Second for heated airer, definitely.
Plus small whiteboard in my fridge where I can write shopping lists and plan meals.
Extra freezer for my batch cooking.
And my alexa in my kitchen and baby's room.

Love this thread!

namechangedforthecraic · 03/08/2020 22:49

I don't understand the point of the toaster tongs? We were bought some but I don't know why I would need them?

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 03/08/2020 22:50

Plastic clip things to reseal frozen stuff, packets of biscuits and so on.

Silicon egg poaching pods.

Having a lint roller in every room, and one at the front door (white cat).

Vacuum packing out of season clothes and storing them on top of the wardrobe.

PayPal. So easy. Too easy.

ScouseQueen · 03/08/2020 22:51

Foldable footstool for the kitchen so I can reach things on high shelves. Game changer for short people!

spiderlight · 03/08/2020 22:53

@ScouseQueen - I was just about to say the same thing! I have one upstairs as well to reach the top shelves of our bookshelves.

JimandWilson · 03/08/2020 22:54

Buying new chargers that have the three main connectors attached. Can charge the phone, tablet / kindle and the Bluetooth speaker. Game changer. No more searching for the different bloody ones!!
