Checking in! I agree, love your posts @BogRollBOGOF!

I might watch hot fuzz at the weekend. Though maybe Sean of the dead more appropriate

Just been reading about the shootings in new york and the burning of the courthouse in california. You just have to wonder what the hell is going on over there.

I've just remembered at the playground...

Every time a DC went over to one side of the play area, an automated voice started speaking about trespass, CCTV and calling the police! I think it is from the building site over the fence as it was within a few metres of that. There's no visible CCTV in the playground (but is on the community building near by). I reassured the DCs that it was the building site anyway, and that they are below the age of criminal responsiblity. Wink

Given that we're talking about a parish council that's presumably having issues with insurance or trying to work out logistics and have decided to settle the issue with a few laminated signs, a bolt and a padlock, I doubt that they are sophisticated enough to monitor a play ground Hot Fuzz style For The Greater Good... are they? @Dowser

We’ve had a zoom dowsing session, bloody hate them and our leader is talking about continuing in this format till January We normally meet outside over the summer and a church hall from October Surely by now he can see we are not a threat to one another..especially as he’s talking about meeting at the weekend outside This does not make the slightest bit of sense at all
Well my mum organised an outdoor WI meeting recently. It was bloody cold but they got some face to face discussion in.

Our TV is about 13-14 years old. My main issue with it is that the ep gui..... De... Is..... Painfully..... Slow.

It survived assault by wii fit, about 7 years ago. Without a mark to show for it. If it had been a modern led we'd probably have replaced at least twice, after that particular meltdown.

I'm always afraid of assaulting the TV when I do kettlebell videos Grin

I don't know why it bothers me so much... when we did shot putt at school, it was always a good job that I have tiny feet Wink

incognitomum · 28/07/2020 02:58

Eurghh am awake. My body clock had gone to shit. Might be menopausal? I read about some magnesium butter for feet that helps but it was 22 quid. Amazon had some arriving tomorrow gor 8.99. See if it helps?

Nice non D cafe visit today whilst service user was in a meeting. It isn't a posh cafe, it's one of those big ones with fixed tables. But was relaxed. No panicky faces or masks.

incognitomum · 28/07/2020 03:01

Well that was crap. I meant Amazon had some. I ordered some and it's arriving tomorrow. Think I need to try and sleep as working tomorrow until Thursday morning. I sleep at work. Or don't unless cream works fast?

DrearyWallAntler · 28/07/2020 06:00

It's not murder, its ketchup.

Orangeblossom78 · 28/07/2020 06:04

Apparently melatonin is good for sleep but have to order from the US. I have to say it didn't help me though.

Had a nightmare last night and woke up gasping for breathe- quite scary. A poltergeist listen me up to the ceiling, and then after a while dropped me...think might be after trying the mask yesterday

Awake then from about 4am. Trying to do mindfulness and breathing to calm down.

Orangeblossom78 · 28/07/2020 06:04

pinned me, sorry nit sure what happens with spelling on this computer at times.

Dowser · 28/07/2020 06:25

It just feels like a waking sleep/ nightmare.

All those poor people on holiday in Spain only to be dragged back or stuck there and then not k ow what they are coming back to
I can see a lot of people simply not complying

And the cabinet goes off for two months...😡😡😡
How can that be allowed to happen?

I’m shocked yet nothing Shocks me any more. Like I’m walking in a dream , and know as soon as I turn the corner the black shadowy shape that I know has been watching me and stalking me, is going to get me.

It feels like no one cares any more and it’s every man for himself and will the last person to leave Britain please turn off the lights.

Only there’s nowhere left to go
Unless there’s room on L Ron Hubbards spaceship?
Maybe Tom Cruise has the answer?

Orangeblossom78 · 28/07/2020 06:44

I bet that brings back memories of the lockdown in Tenerife Dowser.

DominaShantotto · 28/07/2020 06:51

Another night where I’ve not slept. Going to check DD2s arm and then get dh to have the kids for a few hours while I try to get caught up a bit - I was tossing and turning and mind racing all night

LivinLaVidaLoki · 28/07/2020 06:59

Morning all!
4 days left at work before holiday, In a curious state of being excited and having a panic attack at the sheer amount of work I've to get done before I finish....

NothingIsWrong · 28/07/2020 07:04

@LivinLaVidaLoki same here - I'm lying in bed putting off going down to my laptop and cracking the fuck on...

chocolatesweets · 28/07/2020 07:25

Had an argument with dh last night. I told him that if we had to lockdown again I just wouldn't do it. I won't be inside with the kids all day again no chance. I told him that having a burnt out caregiver (me) was more dangerous than this virus to our kids. Why can't people see that?

Orangeblossom78 · 28/07/2020 07:29

Are yours two chocolates, might they get some free nursery funding as think they are opening again?

We used to get 15 hrs or something from the age of 2 or 3...

chocolatesweets · 28/07/2020 07:37

When they're 3 they can have 30 hours. On certain benefits you can get 15 hours from age 2 but nothing for us.

Orangeblossom78 · 28/07/2020 07:40

I remember that time well, waiting for the hours to apply, yes it was 3 for us also. It must be harder with twins.

There was a dad posted on here in the early threads, he got some funding I think, spoke to the health visitor (?) not sure, anyway they got some nursery sorted out.

It is a tricky time, the twos what with tantrums etc and it will get easier once they get that funding - I used to just think of getting through those months

chocolatesweets · 28/07/2020 07:43

Thanks for your kind message.
