We're getting a take out tonight and I want to try new things. I've being trying to branch out from my regulars;
Crispy chilli beef
Sweet and sour chicken balls
Lamb in black bean sauce
Chow mein
Prawn roast

I know it's standard but it never fails. What else are your secret top dishes?

BluebellsGreenbells · 25/07/2020 16:30

Cantonese sweet and sour chicken is nicer
Try chilly beef - that’s so easy to eat! Not chewy
Love the chicken and mushrooms in a gravy

Kung po chicken, it's sweet and spicy with battered chicken. If you like crispy chilli beef and sweet and sour then you'll probably like it

Mojitomogul · 25/07/2020 16:37

I had fried broccoli with sesame seeds the other night and it was lovely!!! Also char sui pork so good

GetTheSprinkles · 25/07/2020 16:43

I second the salt and pepper squid. Sounds gross but is so damn good.

Also dim sum if they do it , preferably chive and prawn.

Manolin · 25/07/2020 16:46

Mongolian lamb and pancakes if you can get it. Like the duck, but crispy lamb instead.

This is one of my absolute favourites and almost everywhere near us has stopped doing it.

Salt and pepper chicken wings are my favourite. Chicken with ginger and spring onion is good.

Fish in sweetcorn sauce or sweet and sour sauce. Fillet beef in Cantonese or black pepper sauce. Chinese roast duck in pineapple. Satay lamb or king prawn.
