I can’t believe I just wrote that thread title.

It doesn’t make sense to me. I loved her.

Sorry for your loss Luna. She must have been a brilliant lady. Take comfort knowing that she isn't in any more pain, and is now at peace. And grief. Grief however you need to for as long as you need to and know that it is okay to feel all kinds of emotion. Sadness, anger, happiness, and relief are all common feelings while mourning the loss of a loved one. Be kind to yourself. X

So sorry for you. That is a beautiful last memory though. Try to hold on to those cheeky fun moments. Let yourself grieve.

Thank you all. This is a lovely nest of vipers. I’ve been here for years through various name changes and it just seemed right to reach out tonight.

I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved dad a few weeks ago. It was sudden and he was only early 70s. We were so close and I saw him every day. My heart is broken but I am managing to keep going for my kids. I’m sure it’ll always hurt and I cry everyday, but not for long. I often smile too, a few weeks ago I thought I’d never smile again. You can get through this. I hope you have real life support .
Sending you hugs and strength, know that you are not alone.

babbi · 01/07/2020 21:12

Please let us know how you are x

So sorry for your loss. My Mum died a few years ago.
The grief and sense of loss was so huge, we'd been very close. But everyone grieves and comes to terms with things in their own way and at their own pace.

Oh, she was never old. She used to sit there online shopping on her iPad, bless her.

She didn’t look old until today. She took it to the wire, that lady.

Kittytheteapot · 01/07/2020 21:24

I'm so sorry. I lost my mum recently too. I know you won't feel this way right now, but gosh your mum was lucky, to be so full of life and loving right up until the end. I hope that one day, when the grief has subsided a bit, you will find comfort in that thought. For now, here's my hand to hold.
