Something just moved in my stomach..

I’ve name changed for this.

Something literally just rolled in my stomach, there was a popping sensation and now I swear I have a bump where I didn’t before. Nothing that strange until I mention that I’ve not had sex since November and I’ve had periods since then. But something is moving in my stomach, and not like trapped wind. I’ll get out for a test first thing, but I surely can’t be that many weeks pregnant and not have had a single symptom till now, surely? Please someone tell me I can’t.

If you've had six months worth of periods then it won't be a baby

Whilst it is rare, it isn’t absolutely impossible. I agree it’s incredibly unlikely but a member of my family didn’t know she was pregnant until 30 weeks, and had periods regular as clockwork throughout!

GabsAlot · 25/05/2020 12:05

out of interest when do pregnancy tests stop showing positives

WhatALearningCurve · 25/05/2020 12:15

@gabsalot when i was nearly 6 months pregnant I found a pregnancy test when clearing out my room. I took it out of curiosity and it still showed I was pregnant! (The ginormous belly and kicks weren't enough of a giveaway ha).

Any news?

TheGirlWithAPrince · 25/05/2020 12:15

Pregnncy tests dont stoo shiwing positives until your not pregnant anymore, unless your HCG levels are low

Wagsandclaws · 25/05/2020 12:15

I get this a lot - I've had 5 children though and my uterus has a mind of its own.

TheGirlWithAPrince · 25/05/2020 12:16

Stop showing* on a terrible phone so spelling rip

GabsAlot · 25/05/2020 12:20

MrMeSeeks · 25/05/2020 12:23

Any news? Wouldn’t-be unheard of to not know you were pregnant.

oohnicevase · 25/05/2020 12:24

Shameless place marking !

mummyof2girls18 · 25/05/2020 12:25

I had this after my girls, I always thought I was mysteriously pregnant but just turned out to be my uterus playing random tricks on me!

Ohshitx · 25/05/2020 12:28

Turns out they do show positive after 6 months.

I didn't exactly have a suprise baby but the timeline was - pregnancy test due to weird fluttery feelings and dr google, midwife said I was around 16 weeks and booked a '12 week' scan. 2 weeks later scan confirmed I was 21 weeks pregnant, 7 weeks later I gave birth at 28 weeks having only told people about 3 weeks earlier Grin. It happens!

SouthernComforts · 25/05/2020 12:29

I saw this yesterday and thought it was funny because i had had the exact same feeling of movement... but then let out a big old trump about 20 minutes later. In your case, think your trump might be a bit bigger and solid Grin Congratulations! Hope this is not too much of a shock or out of sync with your life at the moment
