Something just moved in my stomach..

I’ve name changed for this.

Something literally just rolled in my stomach, there was a popping sensation and now I swear I have a bump where I didn’t before. Nothing that strange until I mention that I’ve not had sex since November and I’ve had periods since then. But something is moving in my stomach, and not like trapped wind. I’ll get out for a test first thing, but I surely can’t be that many weeks pregnant and not have had a single symptom till now, surely? Please someone tell me I can’t.

Congrats OP. Are you still with the father? Do you have any support? I imagine it’ll be a bit of a shock... leave yourself some calm, thinking time before you make any big shouts. X

ClementineTangerine · 25/05/2020 12:46

Wow OP! Hope you're ok, must be such a shock!

Congratulations though Flowers

CoffeeDay · 25/05/2020 12:49

Oh wow, what a twist! Congratulations! Hope you're doing fine OP and have had some time to digest the news.

On a tangent, this is what I always wondered about those news reports of women who claim they had no idea they were pregnant until they gave birth! Surely starting by 6 months they will feel some kind of movement, even if it's muffled by anterior placenta or angled uterus. Almost certain most feel the baby but it may be so long since potential conception that they just write it off in their heads. Hats off to OP who went ahead and took the test despite so many people thinking it must be gas (myself included when I first read the thread)!

Butternutsqoosh · 25/05/2020 12:50

Holy shit!! Congratulations! 😂

SoupDragon · 25/05/2020 12:50

Um... congratulations I guess!

I hope you're OK Flowers

FlamingoAndJohn · 25/05/2020 12:52

Oh my!
That’s a turn up isn’t it.
So how far gone do you think you are?

Blennyfish · 25/05/2020 12:52

Congratulations OP!! It’s probably a huge shock at the moment, hope you are ok x

sestras · 25/05/2020 12:53

Congratulations op, what a shock this must be for you!

Similar thing happened to my friend. She was 38 weeks when she found out and had the baby 5 days later.
