Something just moved in my stomach..

I’ve name changed for this.

Something literally just rolled in my stomach, there was a popping sensation and now I swear I have a bump where I didn’t before. Nothing that strange until I mention that I’ve not had sex since November and I’ve had periods since then. But something is moving in my stomach, and not like trapped wind. I’ll get out for a test first thing, but I surely can’t be that many weeks pregnant and not have had a single symptom till now, surely? Please someone tell me I can’t.

Ahh OP. Huge congratulations. Sitting here feeling my little miss rolling and kicking, am 23 weeks. Enjoy the build up and hope you're ok Thanks

Hi ohshitx another one here who is loving such a happy thread. Just wanted to agree with the poster above who said if you’re not expecting to be pregnant you won’t be looking for signs.
I also wanted to say to the doubters that some of us have irregular and or very light periods. Skipping a month or two can be nothing for me so I can easily see how this could happen.
I obviously take after my mother because she didn’t know until 5 months that I was on the way. Grin
Please do keep us all posted? This thread is nearly full!

RenegadeMrs · 31/05/2020 23:12

Just read the thread. Congratulations, but what a shock!

I worked with someone who only found out the were pregnant at 32 weeks, so it is completely possible. The body is amazing and we are all different. Don't know why anyone would bother doubting this.

@justilou1 what a lovely story. I read it as grandparent at first though and was confused Grin

MsChatterbox · 01/06/2020 06:49

@Dowser not yet. Waiting until scan. And wanting to tell son first.

This happened to my SiL. She was 45 had teen kids. She had irregular periods. She was chopping veg one night and saw and felt a kick. Turned out she was 28 weeks. She’s a university lecturer and very clever. These things can happen to anyone.

Good luck OP. I’m 6 weeks pregnant and would love to skip the next 5 months!

Ohshitx · 01/06/2020 08:05

@LittleBoyJuly2020 I've just had my third baby and I've never had so much as a days nausea with any of mine. It definitely happens, I'm not sure how I get so lucky haha.

Ronnie68 · 02/06/2020 18:11

Whilst doing my midwifery training one of our senior lectures didn't know she was pregnant until she was thirty six weeks and a friend I worked with went to scan to look for fibroids to be asked if she wanted to see it moving. Shenwas twenty eight weeks.
So the answer is yes you could definitely be pregnant xx

FairfaxAikman · 02/06/2020 18:12

RTFT Ronnie

Angelil · 02/06/2020 18:24

I never had any nausea either with my little boy (apart from the night I ODd on Haribo, Dominos and Ben and Jerry’s 😂) so i do understand!! Good luck OP.

DontStandSoClose · 02/06/2020 18:51

I read your original post when you posted it and was going to say "yeah it's wind" but saw others had said the same X100 so didn't post. Just caught up on the thread, OMG congrats! I hope you are ok and are getting over the initial shock? Hope everything goes well the next couple of months, take care X

Taddda · 02/06/2020 18:54

How can people still have not Rtft!! 😂

MadameMeursault · 02/06/2020 20:42

My cousin found out 10 days before she gave birth. She thought she had a hernia! She’d already had 2 kids so she should have known...

Congratulations OP!
