I didn't realise she was due already. Baby boy born this morning!

I'm really shocked at some of the nastiness on here. I just don't understand how people can be so vile. The poor woman.

PigletJohn · 29/04/2020 10:42

he's so lucky to have a part-time job where he won't be missed.

Abreadsandwich · 29/04/2020 10:42

He had quite possibly only done half an hours work since he got back on Monday, ie the public address

Even if this is the case, (which there is no evidence for) he is still only a few weeks on from being in ICU. One of my relatives was in hospital for about 8 weeks after leaving ICU. Admittedly they were retired but it took several months for them to be fully active in "normal life" .

Humina · 29/04/2020 10:42

Probably 40 000 people plus have lost their lives due to incompetent governance. I'll reserve my worry and sympathies for them.

Fallsballs · 29/04/2020 10:42

So anyone who doesn’t high five the PM and carrie is an old meanie then ? Wise up, having a baby doesn’t make him a decent man.

TeddyIsaHe · 29/04/2020 10:43

Wonder how long it’ll be until he forgets he’s fathered this one.

Hopefully mum and baby are both doing well.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 29/04/2020 10:43

And the fact that he has been a shit father so far and will undoubtedly continue to be a shit father and human being in the future doesn't change the need for paternity leave to be normalised!

JemimaPuddleCat · 29/04/2020 10:43

Not a fan of Boris, but any baby is a blessing. I hope mum and baby are both doing well.
I also hope he does take paternity leave, new mums need support, why should Carrie be any different?

sunglasses123 · 29/04/2020 10:44

HMSSophie, that is an uncalled for comment. He caught CV19 and was in ICU. Carrie was due to have a baby. Would you say this is anyone who had the same circumstances?

Bubbletrouble43 · 29/04/2020 10:44

Not a Boris fan but mightily relieved to read that baby appears to be well. Cannot imagine the stress that poor woman had to endure during this pregnancy. Hope all continues to be well.

Humina · 29/04/2020 10:44

God, it's all so predictable and the masses eat it up.

GatoFofo · 29/04/2020 10:44

The lengths he will go to to avoid facing Keir Starmer at PMQs today Grin

LockedInMadness · 29/04/2020 10:44

he's so lucky to have a part-time job where he won't be missed.

Do you really honestly believe this?? Really really believe it? Or are you just trying to be funny and failing? Running the country is a part time job. What an idiotic thing to say.

starfishmummy · 29/04/2020 10:45

Bitterness lol! We are in a national emergency, the likes we haven't had for over 100 years, 1000s of families have lost loved ones.

So what was she supposed to do? Cross her legs, shove the baby back in and wait until the emergency is over?

Fallsballs · 29/04/2020 10:46

What in gods name makes you think Johnson will support this child ?
I think Carrie is well able as will the nurses and nannies be. If Carrie let that man shag her then she’s a far more stoic woman than me.

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2020 10:47

@Iwalkinmyclothing that was a pretty selective cut and paste of my post.

LockedInMadness · 29/04/2020 10:47

Hmm
AlternativePerspective · 29/04/2020 10:47

Jesus Christ.

It’s little wonder that people leave and that there is actually a flouncer’s corner to announce why.

In amongst the bitching and sniping and frothing have people forgotten that there is actually an innocent child at the centre of all this?

Perhaps people would rather he hadn’t survived given who his father is eh? I mean, if you are that bitter about someone having a baby then surely it follows that you wish that baby had never existed?

And people are going to pay money to be a part of this vile mob?

No one has attacked the child ffs, get off your high horses.
Having a baby doesn’t mean the past is wiped out. Yes he was ill, yes it’s a shit time but sympathy - no.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 29/04/2020 10:49

@Notonthestairs

Yes, I selected the bit I wanted to respond to. Why would I quote the bits I wasn't interested in?

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2020 10:50

Because it changed the overall message.

Sparklingbrook · 29/04/2020 10:50

No one has attacked the child ffs Well that’s ok then. 🙄

DarrellMakepeace · 29/04/2020 10:50

@TokyoSushi I think we have a very good idea of how much a father he is to his children.

Not admitting to how MANY children he has in first place is appallingly low behaviour and if he was working class he wouldn't stand a chance in politics because of it.

Putting gagging orders (NDAs) on his exes and offspring is cowardly and shows how much he has to hide and how low he will stoop for his own personal gain.

And you'd like to think he'd be hands on? Wish for another government instead.

Helmetbymidnight · 29/04/2020 10:51

Its not a part time job, how dare you!

I wonder if Boris and Carrie will be an exception to lock-down regs?Perhaps they'll jet off to the caribbean for another 2 weeks like they did in January - All those missed Cobra meetings eh. Shame.
