I didn't realise she was due already. Baby boy born this morning!

It's a joke if he takes all of the paternity leave. Like the lazy sod has ever had anything to do with any of his many other children. Just another excuse to hide and avoid scrutiny. Barely even a part time PM.

LockedInMadness · 29/04/2020 10:28

He'll take paternity leave. God what an absentee PM he's been.

Yeah nearly dying, some people will do anything to get out of doing some work Hmm

AgathaX · 29/04/2020 10:28

He'll take paternity leave. God what an absentee PM he's been - selfish bastard having a life threatening illness Hmm

jasjas1973 · 29/04/2020 10:29

Who fucking cares? 22k deaths another 10k in care homes and he has 5 other kids he has little to do with.

The man is a disgrace.

Yes what with almost dying and then becoming a father to what might be a premature little boy. Hmm

WorriedMutha · 29/04/2020 10:29

They announced the pregnancy after he reached a financial settlement in his divorce. I remember Tom Newton Dunn tweeting that it was a timely announcement as rumours began on Remembrance Sunday that she was suffering from morning sickness at the cenotaph ceremony.

Humina · 29/04/2020 10:30

I don't think he was ever as ill as was claimed.

Sunlighthouse · 29/04/2020 10:30

Congratulations to them. I hope she is ok and that the earlier arrival is because they fudged the dates and not because of complications.

Surely they would get a maternity nurse in usual circumstances, I think people in those type of circles normally do don't they? But not sure if it's allowed in the current climate.

How do these things relate to each other in any way, shape or form?

Mummyoflittledragon · 29/04/2020 10:31

He had quite possibly only done half an hours work since he got back on Monday, ie the public address. He is known for being lazy so I don’t think he will be doing the late night feeds and nappy changes even if Carrie doesn’t breastfeed
.

Yes but Carrie is a woman who has just had a baby when her partner nearly died, can you not put aside your bitterness and be a tiny bit happy for her? Smile

Seriously. The idiotic tin foil hat bigade are out in force today. And what the fuck does this have to do with Carrie having a baby boy? This is supposed to be a PARENTING site FFS. Idiotic.

LockedInMadness · 29/04/2020 10:32

Oh god, here we go.........

justanotherneighinparadise · 29/04/2020 10:32

Wasn’t paternity leave one of the pieces of legislation introduced by the European Union? 🤣

minmooch · 29/04/2020 10:33

He'll take paternity leave. God what an absentee PM he's been.

Really? He's been in hospital fighting for his life.

What a spiteful thing to say.

Congratulations to them both!

MrsExpo · 29/04/2020 10:33

Can't see him taking leave ... he's got quite a lot on at the moment!!!!

Hope they're both OK ... didn't think it was due til June.

Sparklingbrook · 29/04/2020 10:34

Nice news.

And now some posters have something to bitch and moan about for the day.

LockedInMadness · 29/04/2020 10:34

And you know this, how? Hmm

lynsey91 · 29/04/2020 10:35

What an awful time to bring a baby into the world. Well she will make history as the first unmarried mother in 10 Downing Street won't she?

I also hope the lazy so and so doesn't take paternity leave

Womenwotlunch · 29/04/2020 10:35

I don’t think he will take paternity leave, it would be too much like hard work for him.

LockedInMadness · 29/04/2020 10:35

I know. You can positively see them frothing at the mouth. Sad.

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2020 10:36

I can't believe anyone on this site of all sites can be thrilled for Boris given how he's treated his 10 year old & wont disclose the number of children he has fathered. He'd rightly get his arse handed to him here.

But I wish mother, father and baby well and a decent period of time to adjust. The government is made up of more than one man - let's not get distracted by a baby in Number 10, sort out testing and PPE.

God what an absentee PM he's been

Yeah I know, how bloody selfish he contracted coronavirus and had a period in hospital. 🙄
