What discontinued food from years ago do you still miss?

What foods that aren’t made anymore do you miss most?
Mine are Sayer’s Devon Whip, Burtons potato puffs and the vinegar and onion wheel crisps that kwik save used to sell. I can’t remember the name but they were in a blue bag with a squirrel on the front. I would stockpile them without a bit of shame!

Birds chocolate crunch pudding!!!

Munch Bunch Wobblers. They weren’t around for very long but they were lovely - wobbly fruit yoghurt

Mars delight
Echo bars
Ice cream flavoured Chewits
Frosties (those little red cola sweets)
Cadbury’s dream bars

Also some crisps (or possibly cracker type snack thing) that was pizza flavoured. Can’t remember the name but I loved them when I was a child.

Does anybody remember a confectionery item called 'Nutty? A glorious concoction of peanuts? Brown cellophane wrapper?

Turkey Twizzlers. You couldn't beat a Twizzler sandwich on white bread with butter and ketchup for pure dirty, comfort food.

Yes! Turkey Twizzlers! But with baked beans or spaghetti hoops for me. Junior school dinners at their finest. Until Jamie. 🤬

I miss Mars Delights too.

We never had anything but meat and 2 veg type dinners, bar crispy pancakes a handful of times after swimming. I know they’re still about but not been able to get hold of them in years. Would love to try them on DC.
Toffipoos were another one but Aldi came up trumps on those, even during a lock down!

Nutty bars.

Pacers.

Piglets (baked bean flavour, like Burton’s puffs, shaped like little piglets). Loved them at infant school.

Cadbury’s Spiro.

Cabana bars (coconut & cherry chocolate bar, v v posh, in the same bracket as a Topic).

And after that little lot, 10 cal soup sachets.

Harvest cheweee bars

Ooh that reminds me, milky bar choo bars I think they were called. Sort of white fudge type thing with white chocolate on

I say it every time on these threads, but two things.

Secret bars, and the McRib.

I used to miss all that American sweets full of nasty additives and colourings which are mostly forbidden in the EU since ages ago but now we are getting them in every corner! Guess that is one of the dubious hidden benefits of Brexit.

Also Secret chocolate and pyramints were both pretty special too! My taste preferences are still back in the early 90s- I’d trade all the new style chocolates in the world in to have these back on sale!

Dark chocolate mars bars. I think about them about twice a week.

@CentrifugalBumblePuppy I’m pretty sure that Cherry Ripe bars are the old Cabana bars. They are hugely popular in Australia and you can get them on amazon uk
