How old were you when you lost your last grandparent?

I have no grandparents left, my last died when I was 27. Yet I know someone who is almost 30 and has all of her grandparents still living. Can't help but feel a little jealous.

Dad's dad died before I was born, his mum died the day I was born :(
Grandma on mum's side when I was 46. Grandad still very much alive and kicking at 97. I'm 56

Forgot to mention my great gran who died in 1990 aged 94, I was 14 at the time and my fathers mother died before I was born

I was 22 when I lost my lovely Grandma 😢. My grandad had died when I was 13, never knew the other grandad as he'd died many years before I was born (my dad was the youngest of 14 children!!). His mum, my granny, died when I was 3 so I don't really remember her.

I'm a Nanny myself now, and can't bear the thought of not watching my grandchildren grow up! My own mum is still going strong and my children are 28 and 30. They are lucky I think to have one grandparent still alive 🥰
