For me, it's putting people at ease.

I've not got the best self esteem but by goodness I'm authentic.

What are you good at - even if you'd never let on!

Rapping.. every Eminem song is stored somewhere in my head... If the people I work with could see me in the car on the way in... Lol

I can wiggle my ears and raise a single eyebrow. Rather more important is my ability to accurately time processes. I can tell you to the minute how long a meal takes to cook, or the drying time for any load of laundry, or the projected ETA for any vehicle, depending on time of day and load weight.

I'm quick witted and very funny.

Can usually work out a shortcut or alternative route - it's like I see a map in my head.
And my greatest talent - there's a song for everything. If someone says something that's a line or sounds like a line of a song, I'll sing the next line. DD asked me if I knew every song in the world once.

Untangling things (which people don’t expect as I have enormously fat sausage fingers).

I can spin an entertaining yarn and can pick up on people’s moods very quickly.

Making people laugh.

I’m really good at getting things to look right. I can visualise the decor for a room or an outfit or the decoration for a cake or whatever and it always looks great. Unfortunately I’m both fat, lazy and untidy so both I and my house still look shit, but at least the walls are painted lovely colours

I’m brilliant at veg prep and preparing food. Can peel and chop faster than most pros. Jointing chickens, boning fish, I’m fab. Anything touchy-feely or relationship oriented I’m useless and out-of-my -depth.

I wish I could prep veg like that. How did you learn?

Not sure what you all think of this, but if you string a rope between two points (e.g. trees) and ask me to get from one side to the other without touching the floor, I can rope crawl like I've been in the military for years. If you twang the rope, I generally stay on it but if I roll off, I can right myself.

I've never been in a role that requires it.

Not competition standard, but I'm pretty good at crosswords

I can sing opera. Never had a lesson or sang in public but I can do it.
Only a few have heard and say it's amazing

I'm emotionally intuitive, can read people easily.

I'm very good at buying toys for babies. As in, it will become their favourite toy and their mothers will talk about it for years. And yet I've never had a baby myself and know very little about them.

I have a phenomenal memory, I can remember everyone's life story, where they were last Tuesday, what their nephew's name is etc. It can be quite annoying, especially if the other person can't even remember my name! But is also means I learn new things quickly and am quite intuitive putting things together subconsciously.
I can spell words better than I can pronounce them (avid reader as a child).
I can tell 3 good jokes.

Ignoring family members in the street of I can't be arsed for a conversation.

We have a very large family and about 50 of us live withing maybe 5 miles of eachother. So it's a regular thing. Many like a gossip. I just don't have time nor the care about gossip. I have an art form of actually walking past but without looking ignorant.
I then get 'oh I saw you on xxx day on xxx Street you didn't see me' or sorry aunt Ruth world of my own as normal sorry hope you're well.

Stroller... I'm the same. I rarely forget anything. Much to dhs disgust haha. It means I'm always right too 😉

Masking I'm autistic but most people would never guess. I've studied people and their interactions my whole life and can replicate them well. I know what I'm supposed to do or say. The only time I fail is under immense stress ... then the social niceties disappear and my more blunt nature is apparent.

I'm also a master negotiator. I almost always get what I want not because I'm a brat but if I decide I want something then I'm focused and fixated. If i don't think I could "win" I wouldn't bother engaging.

I would be perfect for anyone to confide in with their deepest, darkest secrets. As I will forget them the moment I am told them. My fantastic lack of memory is my superpower!

Listening to and keeping secrets. People tell me things they have never told anyone else. And I pretty much forget them, until they prompt me years later. I feel like a secrets storage unit.

Speaking in public, presenting to an audience. Apparently am rather good at it. ( wish I had done more with it really)

I just thought of another one. I can strip a bed and change a duvet cover and pillow cases quicker than any one I know. Doesn't matter what size, and I do it by myself.

Remembering hundreds of names. Once I learn someone’s name (whether or not I ever meet them) it’s in there forever.

Also sex with my exbf. Very, very good at that (so was he, to be fair).
