Do you remember the names of everyone you have slept with?

.Randomly thinking about this last night and it occurred to me that I can’t remember the name of one of the men that I have had sex with.

I can picture him clearly but for the life of me can’t remember his name. It was a brief drunken holiday fling so no way of finding it out either.

It doesn’t really bother me, just surprised that I can’t recall his name.

Just wondered if it was normal?

In fact I don't even accurately know how many in total - I could take a rough guess at it. I had a busy year or two at uni. Was a lot of fun though!

I actually did this very recently as me and new boyfriend were having a conversation about how many people we’ve slept with. I didn’t do it in front of him of course but the next day.

I can remember them in date order as in “ I was with X from August 96 to August 97 “ etc but admittedly there are 2 or 3 blanks which piss me off no end as i have a bloody fantastic memory and it was at university when I was pissed and don’t remember much.

I have them written down in my knicker drawer, hidden away with some special toys

When I was young free and single, I was free and single. There is no way I could possibly remember everyone I drunkenly shagged between 18 & 25.

When I had a one nighter in Ibiza just before we went at it I said "oh by the way what's your surname?" (way before social media so he wouldn't have thought I wanted to hunt him down etc) just so I know the full names of everyone I've slept with lol

I was very free spirited in my 20s, I couldn’t tell you how many men exactly I’ve slept with and have forgotten (or never bothered to ask) the names of quite a few.

I have absolutely no shame about any of this; although I wouldn’t find it at all fulfilling now, I enjoyed myself at the time. I wish more women felt as sexually liberated as most men do.

The 80's were great, then AIDS came.
I still say meeting my dh saved me.
