Who's had the flu jab and what side effects did you get?

1 day after flu jab I had aching joints/feeling shivery, swollen glands but not a sore throat.

Me!

Absolutely zero side effects.

No side effects here except a slightly sore arm.

I did find out I was pregnant 3 days later but I don’t think that was related

I’ve had the flu jab a couple of weeks ago so far I’ve not noticed any symptoms that I’ve linked to the jab

Me! Arm was a bit sore for a day or two but I bruise like a peach. Other than that no side effects!

Me and none - as in previous many years

I've had the flu jab every year for well over a decade and have never experienced any side effects whatsoever aside from a slightly sore arm.

Me, none. Suspect you were brewing a cold before you had the jab.

Me! The only side effect I had (and v. Sorry if this is tmi!) Is that my armpits smelled a bit weird for about 4 days after!) Honestly it was really strange. But I felt fine and still do!

I used to get it every year but I stopped because I was always unwell to varying degrees afterwards. Plus I still got a bad dose of flu anyway.

Zero side effects here. Sometimes I think people get ill after and it’s coincidental rather than linked.

Your symptoms are most likely nothing to do with the flu jab as it takes several days for the vaccine to actually take effect. Most likely you had a bug/cold brewing.

Slightly tired and achy for 2 days after, but ibuprofen had me feeling fine.

I have the flu jab every year.I always have a sore arm for a couple of days and mild cold symptoms for a few days but its nothing that stops me getting on .
