I watched that this week @CanIGoHomeNowPlease, it's so lacking in the wit and charisma and chemistry of the real Mummy. I topped that off by watching Tom Cruise in the second Jack Reacher film, that was pretty shite too. He was very lacking in the required physical presence of Jack Reacher.

Captain Corelli's Mandolin .. read the book and loved it watched the film and hated it. Nicholas Cage is the the worst actor and his accent was terrible.

I really HATED Bridesmaids and cannot understand why people see it as a film that is great about women - it just seems like such a cliched idea of what women and our friendships are.

I LOVED A Simple Favour and Last Christmas

I loved Dark City, Hellboy 2 and Lady Ghostbusters. I very rarely find myself watching a film I hate because a) I’m easily pleased and b) I read all the reviews first and am a pretty good judge of what I (and each member of my family) am going to like.

However I found myself with time to spare while doing the ironing recently and started watching Red Sea Diving Resort because a) Captain America in swimming trunks b) I was sure I’d read good stuff about it.

Half an hour in I was thinking “why did anyone say this shit was good?” and I went back to google the reviews. Turns out I’d read some articles about the fascinating real life story published to tie in with the story but not the actual reviews - which were shit.
