It's on Netflix and it's called A Simple Favour

Anna Kendrick plays "Mom Stereotype"

Blake Lively plays "Mysterious Woman Stereotype"

Henry Golding plays "Wooden Husband"

Appalling dialogue and acting

Weird incest subplot

Recommended for purposes of mockery.

Anna Kendrick plays "Mom Stereotype"

I wouldn’t have gotten past “Anna Kendrick” Grin wasn’t that enough to tell you it would be shite?

Louisesp82 · 30/11/2019 15:25

I watched it at the cinema, and was excited to see it on Netflix to watch it again 😶

RoryGillmoresEvilTwin · 30/11/2019 15:36

The worst film ever made is in fact The Happening, where NOTHING HAPPENS!
I kept watching thinking that something was going to happen soon but nothing did!

RoryGillmoresEvilTwin · 30/11/2019 15:37

I should say I liked A simple favour. Blake Lively is bloody stunning in it. I mainly kept watching for her wardrobe.

ThinkIamflyingundertheradar · 30/11/2019 15:50

I can’t believe we are 200+ posts into a terrible movie thread and no one had mentioned The Revenant.

RoryGillmoresEvilTwin · 30/11/2019 15:52

Oh god yes. The revenant was truly awful.

JolieOBrien · 30/11/2019 16:09

Just watching Home Alone which I think is a bad film but also popular.

Being John Malkovich ... what is that all about?

Whatthefunk · 30/11/2019 16:16

Has anyone watched the Irishman, on Netflix? Is it worth the 3.5 hours?? I'm getting on, don't have time to waste Grin

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 30/11/2019 16:29

Avatar. DH kept trying to get me to watch it. I kept falling asleep during the lack of action.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 30/11/2019 16:31

And PP is right, Zombeavers is dreadful and utterly fabulous entirely because if that fact. I love a self-consciously 'so bad it's good' movie (Sharknado, I'm looking at you 🦈)

JolieOBrien · 30/11/2019 16:38

@Whatthefunk

I am going to watch it because my son thinks it is good.

IHaveBrilloHair · 30/11/2019 16:38

Whatthefunk
I'm interested in hearing about The Irishman too.

IHaveBrilloHair · 30/11/2019 16:41

Im going nowhere near The Revenant, I know I'll just want to stab myself in the eyes.
Oh and shitting hell , how could I have forgotten Black Swan?
Crap, crap, utter crap and crapola.

JolieOBrien · 30/11/2019 16:49

The Irishman

charm8ed · 30/11/2019 17:08

I really enjoyed A Simple Favour, I didn’t like Last Christmas, I wouldn’t give it more than 5/10. All my friends really loved it but it was not for me.

iheartchristmas92 · 30/11/2019 17:09

rubbish movie but i fell i love with Blake Lively 😍

Packit · 30/11/2019 17:38

Midway to Love is pants. I watched What we did on holiday... brilliant.. so watch that one op to reinstate your faith in films. 😁

libertyminty · 30/11/2019 17:57

I made the mistake of watching Replicas on Netflix a few weeks back. Don’t quite know how I kept watching it but it became so ridiculous I felt a bit compelled to finish it. Keanu was as wooden as a plank.

bbcessex · 30/11/2019 18:09

@Dontsayyouloveme - I LOVED 'whatever happened to Monday!!!'

VanyaHargreeves · 30/11/2019 18:21

If What We Did On Holiday is the David Tennant and Rosamund Pike one

GARBAGE

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 30/11/2019 18:34

Oh I love What We Did On Holiday!

1066vegan · 30/11/2019 18:39

I'm another fan of What we did on our Holiday. Dd and I have watched it together loads of times.

I've also enjoyed a few of the other films that people hate eg Straight Story (the lawnmower one), Black Swan, Shape of Water, the Revenant

TheNameGames · 30/11/2019 18:43

Heads up: Cheesy christmas film just started on Channel 5 called Snow White Christmas. Just turned it on but it seems like there's angst and an evil stepmother with a bitchy gay son or assistant Grin
