Breaking news.....Great!

I'm curious about what happens next. I wonder if someone will put forward a motion of no confidence in BoJo, at this point I imagine it might pass in parliament and hopefully we get a government of national unity and an extension for Brexit. We'll still no doubt have a GE sooner before later.

Venger · 24/09/2019 13:23

I'm sure she doesn't give two tin shits what you think of her appearance.

noodlenosefraggle · 24/09/2019 13:23

Yes all those ERG dickheads who thought they could do better and undermined TM all the was and have now are now shitting themselves that they have shot themselves in the foot with their own arrogance and overblown sense of their own importance. They thought they could do what they wanted. Well they cant. I had no love for TM, but she negotiated a compromise, which was what was needed due to the wafer thin majority for leave and they undermined her at every turn, and now they have risked losing out on their Brexit wet dream altogether. And they have made the dear Queen look like a fool into the bargain. There aren't enough laugh emojis in the world!

There's no way he'll resign. He'll just blunder on being the odious twat we know him to be.

Baroness Hale was the chair of a group of 11 judges. She read out a statement agreed by all of them. The most senior judges in the land with decades of experience behind them upholding the Law. It doesn't matter what she looks like. She has achieved more in her lifetime than you ever will.

Helmetbymidnight · 24/09/2019 13:28

Those ERG dickheads won't shit themselves - they're wealthy and powerful.

Its the rest of us who are getting fucked over daily.

absopugginglutely · 24/09/2019 13:28

@EssentialHummus couldn’t have said it better myself.
She’s a role model and a strong clever woman who is rocking the grey hair as well!

Gilead · 24/09/2019 13:31

Baroness Hale has a series of fabulous brooches. Along with a series of fabulous put downs!

The brexiteers will want to get rid of the judges next.

Honestly, they are that mental at the moment.

absopugginglutely · 24/09/2019 13:32

@lynsey91 what an idiotic thing to say!

MustardScreams · 24/09/2019 13:34

@lynsey91 just enforcing the stereotype of leavers there. Such a delight.

I've seen comments online saying:

  • we may as well go live in North Korea (off you fuck then)
  • the Queen okayed it and she is above the law so the ruling cannot stand (no one is above the law, cuntychops)
  • Boris should just rewrite the law to get rid of Parliament completely so democracy can be restored (except he can't because the law prevents it and that ain't democracy anyway)
  • Boris should appeal to the EU court of human rights (said by someone who wouldn't recognise irony if it ran up and kicked them in the face)
TheElementsSong · 24/09/2019 13:39

just enforcing the stereotype of leavers there

Now now, one can't assume that they're a Leaver. Perhaps they just really hate the rule of law and Parliamentary sovereignty, and have an narrow and intense non-gender-specifc interest in personal grooming Grin

ColaFreezePop · 24/09/2019 13:39

@HouseworkAvoider10 Thatcher however much you despised her had principles.

MustardScreams · 24/09/2019 13:39

@TheElementsSong Grin Grin Grin

The spider is all over the internet (so to speak) and someone is even selling the t-shirt (with over 1000 sold in the last 24 hours)

time to debut this

Boris J's suspension of Parliament ruled unlawful
Soola · 24/09/2019 13:51

Totally predicable but will garner more people to want Brexit.

The ruling is based on personal belief from a bunch of remoaners.

The Supreme Court has lost all credibility. We now know Brenda Hale wanted her 15 minutes of fame and she has egg on her face.

eurochick · 24/09/2019 13:55

Erm, Baroness Hale is a week-respected judge at the end of a long and distinguished career. She's President if the highest court in the land. I'm not sure she's craving 15 minutes of fame.

Venger · 24/09/2019 13:56

The ruling is based on personal belief from a bunch of remoaners.

You know the voting preferences and Brexit stance of every single person involved with the ruling, do you?

The Supreme Court has lost all credibility.

So says someone who supports a PM who is a proven liar, who has no respect for law, who is a serial philanderer, who diverted public funds and lucrative contracts into the pockets of his fuck buddy - do I need to say more about the "credibility" of Johnson?

We now know Brenda Hale wanted her 15 minutes of fame

Because she wasn't well known already....

JacquesHammer · 24/09/2019 13:56

Totally predicable

I love that you of all people Soola came and posted this. Sheer poetry Grin

Just asking though, are you objecting to UK judges ruling on UK law and parliament? Isn’t that what you wanted. Bit confused, eh?
