I think someone’s been in my flat when I’m out

I went to a BBQ in Saturday night and received a strange text from my DD who was home in her bedroom. She told me to stop stomping around as she was tired. I replied that I was miles away at a BBQ and she must have heard the neighbours

I thought no more of it and then I noticed someone today has come in and put a package on my bed and turned my fan on. Nothings been taken. Again my DD said she heard the door go and someone walking around and assumed it was me. But I have only just back from London

My DD is quite worried as she said it was so obviously someone in the flat she assumes it was me. She said I should get the locks changed as she thinks the former owners who lived here in 2016 could still have a key or even given it to someone else. It hasn’t even occurred to me to change the locks when I bought the flat. I guess that’s what I will have to do but how very odd. Nothing has been taken and they weren’t quiet about it.

I'm curious to know what RT is as well!

RT is a discussion forum on eBay. It is or was a friendly (mostly) place for sellers to chat. A bit like MN. It’s still there but not in the original format. It stands for Round Table

I posted there a lot in the early 2000’s. Some of us met up. Everyone got to know the regulars. Some of us met up

Sorry for the person who wanted an update on the original post. Parcel was placed in my room by my DD BF, locks changed and ring doorbell charged 😀

Soola. Sorry I always wanted to post on that board but got side tracked by Round Table. Maybe we should do a new thread EBay message board reunion and see how many other are lurking on here. To be honest it doesn’t surprise me that there are so many the attraction to MN is similar to the attraction to RT. Also every time I had a concern about anything and googled it would more often than not take me to a MN thread in the end I signed up as it seemed whatever the topic there was always some other poster who could advise.

OP for someone who has been through what you say, your Facebook is far too available. After a very brief look I know that you're not currently at home, where you're staying and roughly how long you're away for.

Improve your social media privacy, stop being so lackadaisical regarding personal information that you casually drop all over the internet and wise up.

That may be true but you have added to that by posting it publicly on this thread when you could have private message me your concern

Re EBay boards, I regularly checked the New to Selling and was always intrigued by "Gazelle Run Down By a Bus" as a username!

@Soola I used to post on the Million post thread on F&G. Also used to post on RT and Nags Head. I remember a lot of the names above

How do you know it was the OP?

Because she mentioned it on her previous thread and few other things that I recognised.

@Jenasaurus yes, Round Table, RTDC, MDCC and all the old posters on there.

We didn't meet up, I did meet some others from there, kind of gave up on it when they changed the boards and FHG became the one to use, MDCC came to an end, that was when I gave up using them completely.

@JustMeOverHere how do you know all this about OP location and facebook? What do you know about me? Out of interest, sorry to hi-jack post OP.
