I did have to look because I was bleeding from my backside (piles) and needed to know how bad the situation was back there. I have no reason to think I’ve got a prolapse or anything and my pelvic floor is very good, I can run, laugh, sneeze with no accidents. I don’t know though, does a post baby vagina/vulva look a lot different to a pre baby one?

Yes it does. As a nurse I have catheterized many ,many women over the years. I can tell from what it looks like if they have had vaginal births.

DP held the shaving mirror while I popped a boil on my undercarriage. Unfortunately, he used the magnifying side. 😲 So we both got an eyeful of a pus filled boil on my knackered old fanny. He's still grateful for a shag though. 😉

I've had the odd shock/horror moment at mine too. DH doesn't seem to mind.

It’s never going to look the same after child birth. Mine looks completely different. I made the mistake of looking a few days after birth and burst out crying! But it’s a lot better now thank god.
Genitals are not known for being beautiful and I’m sure your vagina is perfectly fine!

I’ve had three vaginal births and mine doesn’t look massively different to be honest! Had a couple of stitches with my first, none with second or third.
It’s never something that’s caused me any angst anyway. Maybe it should have done!

Definitely does, I used to have a really rather nice neat undercarriage and then I pushed two large watermelon sized children out of it and got really fat.

Now it looks like old road kill.

Heh, had a ventouse delivery with dc two and it ripped the labia minor right off! And now post menopause... not much left at all!

Mine looks drastically different after I had DS, like a fucking car crashed through it. It has never returned to it's former glory and I really wish I had appreciated it more whilst I had it! I will not let DH even glance at it now!

Dragonflyflew: A vagina that hasn't had a baby pass through continues to have a neat, defined opening. A vagina that a baby has passed through has a much larger and more irregular opening, even without any sort of prolapse the passage of a baby alters how things look.

Thank you dotty. I hadn’t looked st mine for a very long time since before having kids and then I did a few years ago and was horrified, it wasn’t how I remembered it at all. It freaked me out, maybe that’s why!

Matron on the maternity ward described mine as 'a bit of a car crash, really' the day after DS1 was born. I've made a conscious policy never to look at it again. DH has no complaints!

One of my dc is an adult and I still haven't looked at mine post childbirth, I intend to never look at it again I had two traumatic vaginal deliveries, one of which resulted in me being rushed to theatre to be put together. When I stood up post birth I could literally see my fanny hanging down, I nearly passed out!
I'm no longer with my dcs father and dh has never had dc of his own, when we first got together I was utterly distraught at the thought of him seeing it but I was brave (and pissed) and he was delighted.
10 years on he's still happy looking at but no way am I ever having a peep!!!!

Plastic surgery is up and coming down there apparently. I also know a girl who was able to get hers done on the NHS it was solely for cosmetic reasons apparently. Her friend told me, he even said it looked really bad 😂! There is that option I suppose... designer vagina I think it is 🤭

'Bumping uglier' is still fun though . 2 vaginal deliveries, lots of grey hair and no worries here.
