Underrated chocolate bars

Ok so I know it’s not strictly a chocolate bar, but last night I had such a craving for a Twix. Haven’t had one in years. Got one today and it’s as good as I remember, the crunch, the caramel and just the right amount of chocolate. So, was just wondering what everyone else’s forgotten favourites are?

I love toffee crisp and can remember when the orange wrapper was milk chocolate (like now) And the blue wrapper was plain chocolate - my favourite. Also like double deckers and star bars. Does anyone remember Delight bars? I loved those.

ScreamingValenta · 03/08/2019 18:00

Fry's Chocolate Cream.

Haven't had a caramac for years, really fancy one now.

Star Bars. Only have about 2 a year but love them.

toweanornottowean · 03/08/2019 18:02

What about a topic? They were my favourite in the celebration tin before they got rid of them 😢

Milka Oreo bars are amazing but a bit hard to get hold of. Also Boost, Twirl and Mint Aero

Rainbowknickers · 03/08/2019 18:04

Toffee crisp
Turkish delight
Twix
Topic
Revels
Fry’s chocolate cream
Riesen

I prefer plain chocolate but asked DD (18) and she said Picnic. Or Double Decker at a push.

Atlasta · 03/08/2019 18:05

I had a twix the other day. I'd forgotten how lovely.
I'm a white chocolate fan and had earlier tried the white twix but was v.disappointed.
It can't beat the original.

libertyminty · 03/08/2019 18:05

I’m sure when Boost first appeared it was coconut, not sure when it changed. I would love a dark chocolate toffee crisp.

Caramac buttons, what a disappointment Sad

DS came home with a dark Bounty recently, he thought it was a great new discovery and was excited to share!

ChippyMinton · 03/08/2019 18:07

Coconut boosters were great - the chocolate coating somehow didn’t bond to the filling so it was messy to eat.

darkriver19886 · 03/08/2019 18:07

Starbar. Surprising delicious!

mizu · 03/08/2019 18:08

Topic. Rarely buy them but when I do I wonder why I don't more often. They do seem to have shrunk though.

winterinmadeira · 03/08/2019 18:09

Lion bars - I don’t have them often but when I do I remember how lush they are

VioletCharlotte · 03/08/2019 18:10

Can you still buy Topics? I've not had one for years, but remember them being good.

Psuedosudocrem · 03/08/2019 18:10

Raspberry ruffle bars are yum..they also do mint ones. Mint Aero is a thing of beauty.

Strawberrycreamsundae · 03/08/2019 18:10

Drifter bar or Boost, kept in the fridge or freezer. Cold/frozen chocolate cannot be beaten 😋

libertyminty · 03/08/2019 18:11

Star bars are lovely, always forget about them too. Also adding Toblerone to my list, though it’s got to be the big one so you have a huge chunk to bite into, the wee ones aren’t the same.

The mint ruffle bars taste soapy to me.

Jaffacakebeast · 03/08/2019 18:15

I used to love fuses!! Now I like a star bar or a time out.... can also never resist a bounty. Wouldn’t be Christmas without a chocolate orange and some after 8s... and Easter it has to mini eggs. Think my love for chocolate is a bit much lol

Oilyskinproblems · 03/08/2019 18:15

Cadbury’s marble - they’re never any where anymore it’s heart breaking. Do they still do them?

4yearsnosleep · 03/08/2019 18:16

Boost & Double Decker

midsomermurderess · 03/08/2019 18:18

Crunchie.
