Just found this in dd suitcase *pic* Where do I leave it?!

What do I do with it?! It's in a big suitcase that she's brought home from boarding school and I'm sorting out her washing because she's going away for a month. She's still at school.

I have no problem with it at all, but I really, REALLY don't want to embarrass her. Where can I leave it surreptitiously?! To make matters worse the suitcase is being thrown out today because it's broken so I can't just leave it in her room - it would look very obvious and then she'd be embarrassed.

Arghh!

Did she ask you to empty her case or did you do it without checking its ok?

AnathemaPulsifer · 03/07/2019 09:30

Used used or missing from the packet used??

purplelass · 03/07/2019 09:31
Hmm
pickletickled · 03/07/2019 09:31

After your last update Envy (< vomit not envy face.)
I think I would leave everything as it is, leave the suitcase indoors and insist she go make sure there's nothing left inside before it gets thrown away.
Regardless of whether it embarrasses her tbh. Lesson to learn here about proper disposal of used condoms and not leaving them for others to find.

HeadfirstForHalos · 03/07/2019 09:32

Donkey, click the 3 dots to the bottom left of the post and the report option is there. Also done it 🙄

BigSandyBalls2015 · 03/07/2019 09:32

That’s filthy ... if it’s true!

Morgan12 · 03/07/2019 09:32

The suitcase looks empty when you found the lube so where were the condoms hiding?

purplecorkheart · 03/07/2019 09:33

I thought the op meant that there are condoms missing from the pack rather than actual used condoms in the bag.

FairyBatman · 03/07/2019 09:33

I’d have a word and tell her that leaving used condoms around is vile and she needs to be more careful.

Unless she’s too young in which case we would be having different words.

bluebluezoo · 03/07/2019 09:34

IOn the bright side she's being safe and seems to be making sure it's fun for her too with sensations lube*

That or she’s being pressured into anal.

pickletickled · 03/07/2019 09:36

Oh I hadn't thought ''used'' could mean just some missing from a packet. I took it to mean actually used!
If it's just some took out of a packet then I would just take them out and leave them in her room.
If she's old enough and mature enough (and also sensible enough to be using protection) to be having sex then she can deal with that - another lesson to learn.... yes your parents do assume/know that you have sex and it's not the end of the world :)

NannyRed · 03/07/2019 09:37

My step daughter got very upset when we went on holiday and I took lube. She was less embarrassed when I told her it’s good to use on your feet before wear high heel shoes, it’s totally stops blisters.
Leave it on her bed with the clean washing. No need to make a drama about it.

Soola · 03/07/2019 09:38

My first thought would be that her chums had put them in the case as a prank.

When I was at school we used to put a brick in classmates sportsbags after P.E..

So did I 🤮

DonkeyHohtay · 03/07/2019 09:40

Don't see three dots but that's fine if other people are reporting the hairy handed ones.

moonpiggle · 03/07/2019 09:40

Haha sorry..i think its a prank from her school mates! Just leave it in there...or put it inside an inside compartment like you didnt see it?

sacope · 03/07/2019 09:40

In the app you swipe left on the post you want to report.

Sparklingbrook · 03/07/2019 09:41

Yes 'used condoms' is different to a box of condoms with a couple missing.

Either way I wouldn't be unpacking the case.

codenameduchess · 03/07/2019 09:42

I was just about to ask if she has curly hair, until the condom update... how old is she? assuming teen I'd just pop them in a drawer and say nothing, then laugh about it in a few years. (Some of my mums favourite stories involve my not so sneaky antics as a teen).

When you say used do you mean the packs open and there's some missing, not there are literally used condoms in there?

Just leave in the bottom of her suitcase as if you never saw it.

Obviously that advice is only if she is old enough to be having sex, if she's young then I would use it as a conversation starter with her.

ISayWhatNow · 03/07/2019 09:43

I AM NOT A TROLL!!! This is 100% happening right now.

If I just stick it in a drawer she will know I've seen it, I more wanted to leave it somehow/somewhere.

She's almost 18. Yes, she knew I would unpack her suitcase. It's a single sex school but her BF is at school in the same city.
