Names that wouldn't usually be names

MIL was telling me about a science teacher some decades ago who named her daughter Antimony. I thought this was incredible, and got thinking about other words that could be used as unexpected names.

What do you think could be carried off as a name? In the same elemental theme, I suspect Cobalt has been a boy's name somewhere...

I think amylase would make a beautiful girls name - it’s a blood test. Something to do with digestion and the pancreas.

I only caught the end of it in passing but Mary just had a line in Coronation Street about a child being called Chlamydia after 'a mix-up at the registry office' Grin
