You won’t believe what happened at a wedding last night

Evening guests turned up at 7pm. Around 8pm bride and groom decided to cut the cake. Only to find cake had already been cut by a hungry guest

Cake in question was a three tiered cake made of different cheeses. Surrounded by grapes and crackers/biscuits. No little bride and groom on top.

An absolute war broke out about it. Half the people saying well, how were they supposed to know it was the cake, other half saying it was pretty obvious.

Cake was in a separate room to the bar and dance floor. Bride in tears (or tiers boom boom).

Around three or four people had taken some of the cake by the time they realised!

Tough cheese I guess.

The names of the couple are Wens & Ly Dale.

Sounds like a bit of a pickle with the bride having a meltdown.

That would get my goat. Sounds like she was a bit of a sheep to be so upset though. My language would have been blue for sure. It would be the last straw for many. Guess thise friends are now toast. What a pickle.

It is bad manners for a guest to cut the cake. I witnessed one of the bride's relations cutting into their wedding cake before they did many years ago. No idea whether they were particularly upset although they managed to salvage one of the tiers for keeping.

Oh hard cheese, bride will get over it. It was rude to tuck in before anyone else though, whoever did it.

Have seen this happen with a stack of cupcakes which were on a stand as the wedding cake - 3 were missing! Had to strategically turn it and take photos from right angle

When I get to my next significant birthday, as getting married is extremely unlikely, I want a cheese wheel cake, suspended over a huge, hidden fondue pot. When the cake is cut all will tumble down to make a lovely gooey melted cheesey mass.
