You won’t believe what happened at a wedding last night

Evening guests turned up at 7pm. Around 8pm bride and groom decided to cut the cake. Only to find cake had already been cut by a hungry guest

Cake in question was a three tiered cake made of different cheeses. Surrounded by grapes and crackers/biscuits. No little bride and groom on top.

An absolute war broke out about it. Half the people saying well, how were they supposed to know it was the cake, other half saying it was pretty obvious.

Cake was in a separate room to the bar and dance floor. Bride in tears (or tiers boom boom).

Around three or four people had taken some of the cake by the time they realised!

I am very fondue of this thread.

I posted early in this thread then went a bit cheese mad. As it’s gone on the maturity and flavour has ripened and intensified ! Best before date miles off. Other threads beginning to have slight cheese smell when I open this one. No bad thing !! Can I eat the rind ??

I found myself loitering in the local Cheesemonger's yesterday.

He is a patient man, as is fitting with his profession, but after the required polite conversation and leaving me to browse for much longer than usual he eventually asked if there was anything I would like to try or buy.

I had to admit that I'd already eaten far too much cheese during the last couple of weeks thank you very much, and wouldn't be buying any but was just there looking for puns!
