LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 21/11/2018 19:27

God yes! In London but our flat is an icebox for some reason (I joke that it’s actually a portal to the after life).

Exexexcel · 21/11/2018 19:27

It snowed this morning. Yes.

dementedpixie · 21/11/2018 19:27

Mine is never properly off. We use a thermostat and timer. Scotland

MongerTruffle · 21/11/2018 19:27

It's been on since the end of September. It's set to 25 degrees whilst we're at home.
I am in the southeast.

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 21/11/2018 19:28

Yes!. I'm in the middle of the map and we have had half a dozen days where the cars have been frozen. Although I am of the mindset I am not going to martyr myself and be cold life's too short.

OrcinusOrca · 21/11/2018 19:28

I got back from holiday yesterday and my hearing came on at 10 degrees Celsius, felt absolutely freezing.

theboxofdelights · 21/11/2018 19:29

Yes, thermostat set to 18, first year in a house where I don’t have to rely on solid fuel and oil heating.

Been on for two months when it needs to kick in to maintain 18 degrees.

AamdC · 21/11/2018 19:29

Yes its freezing im in the Northwest .

DoveSecret · 21/11/2018 19:30

Yes. Snow on the mountains and currently 1 degree. That means heating on!

Athena51 · 21/11/2018 19:30

DoveSecret · 21/11/2018 19:30

megletthesecond · 21/11/2018 19:30

ThisMustBeMyDream · 21/11/2018 19:32

Er. Yes. It's fucking freezing. It's 4 degrees here today.
It's been on for ages.

southnownorth · 21/11/2018 19:32

Mine has never been switched off. It has been heating the house for months now though, don't like cold.

FitzChivalryFarseer · 21/11/2018 19:32

It's set to 25 degrees Shock

Your heating bills must be enormous! Or you live in a tiny place. Or have appalling insulation.

Ours is at 18-20 and even then, I am roasting most of the time. It’s only been coming on for an hour or so each morning and evening. And that is plenty.

LoveManyTrustfew · 21/11/2018 19:32

No

I did have and then it died, so NO. SadGrin

Noonemournsthewicked · 21/11/2018 19:34

Wenttoseainasieve · 21/11/2018 19:35

CherryPavlova · 21/11/2018 19:37

Yes and fires lit. I dislike being cold indoors.

Elfinablender · 21/11/2018 19:37

Yes, it's always comes on to keep the house at 22c through the day or to 16c on a night.
