REALLY Panicking about new blue kitchen

Hi All, we are at the end of a pretty extensive build project. I have spent a year researching and organising my dream kitchen. I’m not usually very bold but wanted to try and be braver than my usual grey so opted for the vision a dark blue and white kitchen.
Was feeling really excited it all, even when it turned up..... but now they have started to install it really isn’t the colour I thought it would be and think it looks way too blue and overall a bit of a design disaster! We have literally spent a fortune on the house and have nothing left to improve anything else. My husband says he likes it (but he says that about everything) and now I’m in proper panic mode!!!
Anyone have any thoughts on whether I am over reacting or if I have made a terrible judgement, what I could do put it right??? Help! I’m really panicking and now feel gutted that rather than feel excited about showing off our new home, I am embarrassed about my design fail! 😫😩🙈

I love it but my favorite colour is navy!
When we were doing up our last house 10 years ago I looked for a navy kitchen and there was no such thing 😭 we are currently building and I fully intend on putting in a navy kitchen!! 👍👍

@subtitleson not yet but it will do. We’re getting a pop up installed in the quartz. Wasn’t too sure about it as didn’t want to cut into the quartz but they won’t go on the ends because of the units/appliances we chose.

@youmadorwhat I agree. This colour looked much darker on the test so navy is what I expected initially.... hence the panic!
You can now get blue kitchens all over..... and can paint lots whatever colour you like! Hope the building works are going well x

I’m currently having my kitchen done too, not as extravagant as yours but I’m so excited for it to be finished. I’m so glad to have a sink back in use

Other than snagging we are officially finished! I wasn’t brave enough for coller or bronze in the end (although have used bronze in the lounge instead) but am so pleased and relieved with the outcome.

The blue looks totally different day and night but I love it 🙌🏻

I’m still in the paralysis stage. It’s hard because the kitchen in this house is tiny. Really tiny. The previous kitchen was huge... really I just need to get it done & the rest of the house finished so we can sell/rent it out, whichever we need to do (work contracts changing mid year).

I’d love to know some of the colours you’ve gone for @ohdearmymistake - I’m in the process of painting my house too, and really want to go for some strong, dramatic colours, but I’m such a wimp when it comes to this kind of thing!

Here's some I've done, the red is incarnadine with lime white, brown is london clay with archive, the blue is periwinkle.

Some others the green is calke, dayroom yellow, and green smoke with lime white on the chimney.

Still got two bedrooms to do one with stiffkey blue with dimity and the other preference red and dimity.

I said to DH at the weekend that I wanted a blue kitchen and seeing yours shows me I definitely do, it's beautiful.
