Bake off - Kim joy

Just catching up, I'm watching bread week. Kim joy seems a lovely woman with her own style. She has a perfectly pleasant face....why don't her friends tell her her make up is so overkill! Bright blue eye shadow and that blusher! She looks so silly and she could look so much nicer without it all. IMHO obviously...

Oh please, if ruby wore that make up she wouldn't get the support! So yes, it is because she's quirky looking before make up so people embrace it more with a hint of pity.

What an ugly comment. And who the hell do you think you are to assume that I, and the dozens of others on this thread are only saying Kim-Joy looks good because we PITY her!

You must be a very negative and sad individual if you think this. I also said Briony, and Ruby, and Manon are gorgeous too, and Briony has a cute smile! Do you suggest I am only saying this coz I think THEY are ugly?

Are you saying ciderbrains, that only ugly people are admired for eccentricities because they're pitied for having nothing else going for them, and that you think Kim-Joy is uglier than Ruby? Surely not! But it does read that way.

Yeah that is EXACTLY what ciderbrains is saying. What a horrible way to think. SHE is the one who deserves pity if she has such a sad and negative view of people.

And as has been said, RUBY wouldn't dress and make herself up like Kim-Joy, because it wouldn't suit her. It suits Kim-Joy and she looks fab!

Never mind KimJoy’s make up. WTF is going on with Noel’s foundation? He looks like he’s made of vinyl. Terrible colour match and mega thick coverage.

I think she's just gorgeous, her makeup isn't my style at all but it suits her and in a world where so many people have no confidence to do what they want, I think it's lovely that she does.

Totally agree. Her makeup reflects her style and personality.

She's a fantastic role model for young girls. I love that my dd (11) really likes her. Talented. Original. Comfy in her own skin. Great sense of style. Quirky. Even tempered. What's not to like.

It really doesn't matter what others say to me on an anonymous Internet forum.. then again I am often described as "quirky" who is comfortable in my own skin by others.. when you're like that it's water off a ducks back! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Loved when she was asked why turtles in her chocolate planet she replied why not turtles it was a fantastic creation
