  • THREAD WARNING *

Any parents with young children close down eBay after clicking on the link otherwise your child will be liable to pay for a very expensive toy they aren’t allowed to play with!

I note this is a business seller. Confused

shinycat · 27/09/2018 14:00

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I will give the seller 699 all right. 699 pennies! Grin

Oooooh, it IS only £33 a month for 24 months though! Just £33 every month for two years, for THAT little gem! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

LuluJakey1 · 27/09/2018 14:00

I am contemplating an offer

shinycat · 27/09/2018 14:01

OMG that write up on it!

And the seller as 37,000 feedback, so they're not just a fly-by-night nobody! Weird!

HugoBearsMummy · 27/09/2018 14:02

Just had a look and the sellers address is around 10 minutes drive from where I live- May pop round there as an 'interested party' just to take a closer inspection at it's beauty Grin

Paddley · 27/09/2018 14:02

I strongly suspect he paints his own window frames as well.

shinycat · 27/09/2018 14:04

@HugoBearsMummy

Don't you flucking DARE!!!!!!!!!!!

IT'S MINE. I want it. Don't nobody on here touch it. It's mine I tellz ya. MINE!

ALemonyPea · 27/09/2018 14:05

The steampunk stuff they’re selling is hilarious. Steampunk hungry hippos for £40 anyone?

CrunchieFriday · 27/09/2018 14:05

That is the funniest thing I've seen in ages. Fabulous piss take. Well played ebay seller David of Thorburn Road, well played.

Alternatively, he is Sheldon truly believes it is a one of a kind masterpiece worth £££ , but now has Amy a wife who has threatened divorce if she sees the hideous thing this Christmas …. Grin

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 27/09/2018 14:06

Would you mind popping this link onto the Bake Off thread, OP, where it will find a truly appreciative audience? I’d do it for you but I feel the credit is all yours.

shinycat · 27/09/2018 14:07

@paddley

I strongly suspect he paints his own window frames as well.

BA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!! I just noticed the window frames (in the background) on the photo on ebay!!!

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

shinycat · 27/09/2018 14:08

STEAMPUNK HUNGRY HIPPOS?

What is this sorcery?

goes to look

Welshmaiden85 · 27/09/2018 14:10

Someone has told him/her you should factor in your labour into the price.....failing to mention that one does need to have some advanced design skills should one expect to be paid at a professional hourly rate. I would humbly suggest don’t give up the day job but thank you for the joy you have brought. Grin

CowInTheMeadow · 27/09/2018 14:11

"YEARS OF PLANNING"

GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Surely the plan went:

  1. Buy Quality Street. Eat sweets. Turn tin upside down.
  2. Plaster tin
  3. Stick shit on top
4. Get little phones for birds
Leela2 · 27/09/2018 14:12

Go ahead MyImaginary, I've no idea how to share the link, sorry.

I'm so glad you're all loving it, I do feel like I'm taking the piss a bit, but, well.....it was really asking for it.

Sweet Baby Jesus....have you see what has been done in your name?

figelnarage · 27/09/2018 14:20

WTAF

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 27/09/2018 14:20

It's "four colly birds" anyway

StealthPolarBear · 27/09/2018 14:23

ITS BASED ON AN UPTURNED QUALITY STREET CHOC TIN, ITS EMPTY / HOLLOW BASED SO CAN ACTUALLY BE USED AS A CAKE TIN, OR HIDE THINGS UNDER IT FOR XMAS TREATS.

Onehellofaride · 27/09/2018 14:23

😂 this is just superb. Unfortunately DH says no!

M3lon · 27/09/2018 14:26

Just..no...I really am speechless.

ellenanora5 · 27/09/2018 14:28

Woohoo, just what I've been looking for Grin grin] thanks for posting Leela2, I'm going to take the payment plan though, it'll be tough and I'll have to tighten my belt for a bit but it's so worth it.

ALemonyPea · 27/09/2018 14:29

Lolaflores, I suspect the sweet baby Jesus may well be hidden in there somewhere.
