The twaddle continues ......

OP posts:

That last one is really something, Oyster. Someone ought to do that in oils. The play of light and the pose are so elegant.

PrairieOyster · 16/11/2010 00:06

I've read a couple of Lovelace fics, believe it or not, but I feel rather uncomfortable about them, coz Lovelace was a complete scoundrel...

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 00:09

Oyster - do you have a thing about thighs? Coz I have to say your pics score 11 out of 10 in that department every time.

PS - any chance of a link to the Lovelace fan fic (I know, I know...Blush)?

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 00:10

Theresa - did you not recognise the touch of Lovelace in Guy a couple of chapter back?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:11

I see where you're coming from, Oyster. And you can't really tamper with the original characterisation too much and make him less bad if you want it to be authentic.
Mind you, Lovelace did repent. On his death-bed.

PrairieOyster · 16/11/2010 00:13

OK now it really is

Night night

from me

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:14

Would I not, Mrs LN! Smile Ashamed to say I do harbour a wee scrap of sympathy for a liver... leever...libertine.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:15

And you Oyster. Sweet dreams are made of that, all right. Couldn't you paint it though, Mrs LN? Or Flowers could do it in clay.

PrairieOyster · 16/11/2010 00:15

Sorry that was a duplicate post

Try again

PrairieOyster · 16/11/2010 00:16

Aarrghh

Gone

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 00:17

Theresa - he's at it again now, but don't think I could post the rest of the chapter on here. Mumsnet might be all to familiar with Bumsex but am not sure we're quite ready for full on soft pron just yet!!!

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 00:17

...or even porn!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:17

It looks like we are approaching critical mass again, over 850 and counting, so I'd better make my farewells too. Thanks all for the fun.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:19

How lovely for you,Mrs LN. So where do we get to read it? In one of thsoe saucy books witht he red and black covers?

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 00:22

Might have to be! I could actually use some extra cash at the moment and was wondering last night if it might be worth approaching a few 'adult' magazines. Can always use a pseudonym...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:22
Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 00:24

Goodnight anyway and enjoy your soft-porn creation.

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 00:25

Night all!

PrairieOyster · 16/11/2010 06:55

MrsLN - the two Lovelace fanfics I know are very steamy!! I can't link here, sorry. Also one is in a closed forum. But I'll DM you on Twitter a link to the other. But be warned, nearly all this lady's writings are steamy...

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 07:43

Grin!

MrsLucasNorth · 16/11/2010 07:44

Theresa - have just re-read your last post - I said Mumsnet was familiar with it - GTN most certainly isn't!!!

Fettle · 16/11/2010 08:32

Morning!

Fabulous ending MrsLN! I think it's too good for adult
Magazines - try fiction books instead. Would you leave the names if the characters? Do you think anyone would make the link to GTN is based on?

On that note on the subject of yours and thereas 'discussion' did you know that GTN stands for glyceryl trinitrate commonly used to treat angina but also something which may be caused to that which I can't even write!!

And on that note I have to rush to school - will catch up later properly!

PrairieOyster · 16/11/2010 08:44

What is GTN?

Fettle · 16/11/2010 09:57

Guy Thornton-North! The protagonist (is that the right word oh intellectual ones?!) of MrsLN's novel.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 16/11/2010 11:25

Ha ha, according to that link, Fettle, it looks as if Mrs LN was wrong about my post last night then Grin

Meanwhile on the angina front, I think our GTN would be more likely to cause reactions in the thoracic regions, rather than cure them.

Protagonist is spot-on, Fettle. Don't be so modest!
