Do you know a lot of people who live the same way? That’s interesting, I haven’t actually met any! The closest I can think of is my aunt, who I would definitely describe as a minimalist. She still has pictures of loved ones on her walls, books on a bookshelf etc though.

You only have to look on youtube.
In real life my nan was one sister is one and so in my friend, and a lovey old man a few doors down from me.
I think the way the world is right now a lot of people are changing things.
Wadges are not rising cost are hitting the sky, and some are just thinking whats the point in all this stuff, keeping up with the next when we can make do, and save and treat ourselves to something else.

My nan once told me if your home burnt down you would be happy that you and your family got out alive, everything else can be replaced, and that stuck with me.
If shit hits the fan i have nothing to lose.
I have memorys cant lose them unless i get really old and lose my marbles.

I will never be a minimalist, but I totally understand why it would work for others.

I suppose my final question is do you live in a small property/flat or a house? If it’s big, how do you make it not feel empty? If you have a garden, how does it look?

I live in a normal size flat small to some, shared garden.
I didnt want a house and garden with drive etc, i dont have a car and im not green fingered.

So i chose a flat and its cheaper.
Its cosy to me i have a bold color on one wall in all rooms i have hippy curtains and funky hippy throws on all 3 chairs.
So there is color.
Laid back calming feeling.

even if that's true, it doesn't warrant the arm chair psychology and rudeness. I know which of you is rather be friends with!

What do you do with paperwork

If its impotant and i have to keep it i put it in a folder, if its not it gets torn up and put in the bin.

Are you neurotypical or neurodiverse?

Do you have things like candles, first aid kit, tools, a printer?

Im not a lover on candles.
I do have a small printer.
An a first aid kit in my backpack, toolkit I have a multi screwdriver a hammer and pliers.
If i need anything else I'll just ask the neighbours.

Why 3 sets of PJs if only 2 sets of bedding? Why 7 bras?!

What happened to one to wear and one for the wash?

Do you like the aesthetic of a monastery bedroom? If so, have you deliberately copied the look?

If someone bought you a framed print that you love, that you had seen in the Portrait Gallery (for example), would you put it up on the wall? Or would you hate it as you’ve already seen it in the Gallery and have no need to ‘possess’ it?

If you fell in love with a man (or woman) who was not a minimalist, how do you see that panning out?

And I think someone else asked this but I can’t remember if you answered - do you get visually overwhelmed by ‘stuff’ everywhere, peoples houses, adverts on the road, shops etc?
