If you're going to raise climate issues please make sure you have your facts right before you post. There is a lot of incorrect PR and social media comment about plastic turf going around at the moment.

We've had two heatwaves this year. The first one started on 22nd May so OP has had her plastic grass at least 39 days.

What is this then, if not you telling all and sundry your artificial grass is totally indistinguishable to the real thing until you are nose to blade and actually touching it?

Also, still no links eh? According to a google search of "most premium 40mm artificial grass available", it is likely to be something like Halo Grass or Tuda Grass. And while yes I agree they do look better than many, you can still tell they are fake even from their best promotional shots.

I am not a troll. That is exactly what I have got. I've got ceramic flower outdoor ornaments not "fake flowers". I'll tell you that I bought them from Temu but I'm sure that will garner me even more abuse.

I actually hope it is a troll because I'd like to have hope for mankind for the planets future...

I'm out of this thread now because the people abusing me are not listening to any of the other posters telling them about their own positive experiences. I'm not outing myself or exposing myself to any more comments about my personal taste for my little garden by posting photos. And I will not sit here and read people calling me a liar and a troll when I have prided myself all my life on being a truthful person.

I don’t care if Kortneee from the local estate has lovely plastic grass for her staffies to shit on, and I don’t think it’s going to kill the planet.

I just think it’s absolutely beyond hideous and utterly tasteless.

And I dare say that you also have things that others would consider hideous and tasteless.

It's not really a garden, OP, is it? Gardens have life; that's kind of the point of them. You have a 100% manmade space without a roof.

I had a plastic lawn out the back in our old mid terrace. I studied at Cambridge and most definitely am not even a tiny bit thick.
