I don't do "body to body massage", it's not something 1) I feel comfortable doing and 2) I don't personally see any therapeutic value in it, but then everybody is different and works different.

Do you work for yourself or via an agency? What tax bracket are you in? How do you advertise? Do you have to employ security?

I'm self employed, I don't do over the 80K tax bracket (I wish! 😂) I don't have the need to employ security and I've never had a problem in 17 years (touches wood).

(Needless to say I pay my taxes just like everyone else)

I got that question ask a few posts ago, I did read that thread, but no it was not me by any means. I would never contact at client in between sessions, very unprofessional in my opinion, and invasive of their personal life, for the same reason I don't let clients contact me for personal talk in between sessions.

I've never heard of her and never had the pleasure of training with her I'm afraid.

From 25 to late 80's.

She began tantra in the 80's and started teaching, no-one seemed to have really heard of it before then. Would be about 65 - 70 now I think, she was in Central London.

Would be interesting to know her story, unfortunately never heard of her. I'm a big follower of Barbara Carrellas and have read most of her books.

Do you feel at all bothered that your “work” and styling it as a massage, then means that actual professionals who work with massage in sports injuries or physio etc then get labelled sex workers. Or at the least have people ask for happy endings.

Comparing someone who works as a sports massage therapist with me is comparing oranges and and apples, completely different occupations. I have a very straightforward website that defines what I do and crystal clear describes my services. Anyone with an injury is obviously not going to call me.

Because a tantric massage is indeed a massage, the only difference is that "more parts of the body get to be massaged", but it's done on a table using a variety of conventional massage techniques. I'm actually a qualified/ certified massage therapist.

I have an acquaintance who is also a tantric massager. Her husband is a holistic therapist . They run retreats etc. My friend (photographer) went to take some photos for their website. He was offered the services to try He said it was incredible.
