I smoke weed everyday AMA

Hey! Bored and thought this could be fun. As I've said above I smoke cannabis daily, Have done for years. Only in the evening. I'm a mum and my DH does too. If anyone has any questions ask away :-)

Did you smoke it when you were pregnant?

What do you enjoy about it?

I’m not attached to my neighbours two doors down either but can still smell when they smoke weed as it permeates my flat.

But women are beaten to death fairly regularly because of the impact alcohol has on angry men.

This is an early sign of psychosis, the two main things pot users start think are :

1. Loads of people do it (when in fact it's a small minority)
2. Nobody notices or complains (when in fact they slag you regularly, just not to your face).

Everyone who I have met who smokes weed thinks they and their dc don’t smell of it but they do. I meet people daily who smoke it and I can honestly say I can’t remember a single one where it’s not obvious in some way.
whether you like it or not op, you and your dc smell of it, your dc teachers etc are aware.

I agree & did think I was going to take a thrashing on here but hey ho! As I said in an earlier reply some people like a glass of wine in the evening I like a joint! One thing I will say is never does a smoke make me feel angry, aggressive, argumentative, emotional etc like i know alcohol can. Put a bunch of smokers in a room and I bet all you'd hear is lord of giggling! it works for me :-)

I do too and have prescription cannabis (Sapphire medical clinic) if anyone is interested my parents do pay my medical bill as I can't afford it and it truly helps me.

it should be legalised but it never would as they can't tax it. Most people replying have never done it or have done it just once and are imagining you and your husband sat on the sofa giggling with the kids in bed. It's like a small calm feeling when you do it daily.

They really aren't! I'm not sure how a smoke at the end of (very large) garden in the evening would somehow make my kids smell? It's never kept in the house near them & never had anyone said we smell.

If you and your DH smoke every evening who is the responsible adult should your children have an emergency? Neither of you could drive. Neither of you would be fully coherent.

How much does this cost per week? do you give up other luxuries to smoke weed?

Some of my friends drink a bottle of wine a night I like a smoke to relax me.

Ah- it's a race to the bottom!

Rather than own up to a habit which will hit your health at some point, you compare it with your friends who are also drinking too much.

Why not try yoga to relax yourself? Or meditation app?

These are not illegal substances.

Yes! Absolutely agree, we aren't sat here high every night it's just a small relaxing buzz not dissimilar than how people feel after a glass of wine I'm sure. In fact I feel a lot more in control when I smoke rather than drink! It worked wonders for my DH who was in chronic pain everyday.

Realistically who is going to tell you that you smell?

For all those rhyming on about alcohol - start a thread about that if you want to talk about it. It's not an 'either/or' situation. Lots of people manage perfectly well to not partake daily in the abuse of either substance.

Do you consider the wider effects of smoking the drug?
County lines, violence, dealers, etc.

No never.

How would you feel about your kids smoking it or doing drugs?

You say you smoke at the end of the garden but your kids will know you smoke and are more likely to turn to ciggies or dope as a result of that.

Honestly your neighbours can probably smell it! Weed stinks to people who don’t smoke it! It’s such a nasty smell to inflict on others. Also you will smell of it and bring said smell back into house. Smokers just can’t smell what is on them! No one you know is going to be honest 😬

do you not worry about what you’d do if there was an emergency whilst under the influence? and how it would look to social services? And aside from that what you are doing to your lungs?

I’m detached too but can still smell the idiots next door smoking weed. Just because they haven’t complained doesn’t mean they don’t smell it. probably don’t want to get on the wrong side of the family of potheads 🙄

Who looks after your children when you & your husband are outside indulging yourselves every single day?

Do you really smoke it every day (so leave them even if it's Christmas Eve or their birthday, they are ill etc..) ?

How much time do you abandon your children each evening for in order to do this?

Did you just leave them alone so you could sit around getting high even when they were babies?

When your children want to take drugs will you be helping them source their drugs too?

Do you also smoke regular cigarettes?
(Have known a number of drug addicts who became addicted to smoking nicotine after actually starting off smoking weed, who said stopping the cigarettes was harder than the weed when they gave up)

What's your job and do you think your colleagues are aware?

You do yoga. Well, clearly not enough or the right way if it's not working.

Where do you work? Is that what's making you stressed?

What are you relaxing from?
