Hey! Bored and thought this could be fun. As I've said above I smoke cannabis daily, Have done for years. Only in the evening. I'm a mum and my DH does too. If anyone has any questions ask away :-)

@goinginsaneinthemembrane in an emergency you would surely just operate as you would if you didn't drive? And regular weed smokers are generally still very alert/responsible when high, it's not the same as being drunk. I wonder if OP agrees

That’s the point. People who drink wine can still function after a glass or two. People who smoke weed can still function after a spliff or two. Granted, driving isn’t a good plan either way, but having a quick smoke after a long day does not prevent you from doing anything else!!

I was certainly not responsible and alert when I smoked weed every day!

Do you drive? It stays in your system for so long that you would test positive if you got stopped or had an accident and had to get tested. It's legal where I am but that would put me off doing it regularly. I don't want to get a DUI charge!

I see it as a habit that would never cross my mind to start or continue, especially with a family, for various reasons.
If it weren't for all the other issues that go hand in hand with illegal drugs, I'd say it were similar to 2 parents who needed to drink a substantial amount of alcohol every evening.
I don't know enough about it. Do you get high every time you smoke it, or is it like alcohol that you need it to remain neutral, and without it you feel bad?

Do you get angsty and twtchy before you can go out and have your evening smoke? Do you get irritable if you getting your fix is delayed?

I wonder if you are my parent's neighbours? They smoke weed in their garden a lot and have a young child. It stinks and prevents my parents from enjoying their garden, they have to go inside when they start. They also neglect their young child, my parents have thought about reporting them about the neglect but they worry about the backlash as they are the only people who would know what is going on as direct neighbours. It's a very sad situation.

So are you pissing your neighbours off and neglecting your kids getting stoned of an evening?

@TooOldForThisNonsense ahh, yes you're right but some would argue that it's effects are worse than weed ! Most stoners just want to eat something and go to sleep. I would argue a parent pissed every night is a worse example to the children
