Hi, I am a currently working prostitute (or escort/call girl/whatever, all the same thing).

OP, the issue with the Nordic model is that it drives street prostitution and trafficked women further underground. It might eradicate it for the purposes of official statistics, but these women are now in a worse position, and their prostitution is further controlled.

I myself am fortunate that I work as an independent, and it was entirely my decision to enter sex work. I am part of a huge number of sex workers who do this work willingly. Statistics however are generally collected by sex work projects, and these tend to be used by the vulnerable women in this industry, so are misleading on the industry as a whole.

I am not for a second saying that we do not have a responsibility to help these women. Prostitution is not an easy job, not everyone would want to or could do it, and I imagine being forced into it must be hell. The easiest way however, to take power away from those who are controlling prostitution is to make this industry completely legal. In New Zealand this has been a resounding success.

There is a huge misconception amongst those with little knowledge of the industry that all clients must be violent, unattractive or sexist if they visit a sex worker. The vast majority of my clients are just normal respectful guys, and contrary to popular belief, they do not believe that they can 'buy' women's bodies. They are just paying for a service which I use my body to provide.

I am lucky to be an independent, informed and willing sex worker. My friends and family know what I do, and I am not ashamed of it.

Vulnerable women in this industry do need to be protected, but the way forward is working with sex workers rather than against them.

Personally I used to turn that kind of business away, I do not not did I enjoy big willies 6" was my limit. As for the birth, if too fat no way, money back and wish him well. That is why it is good to be independent you can turn clients away where as agency or brothels you do not have that option.

Unfortunately you do come across men who will take tips from porn. I have had a guy smack my fanny because he saw it in porn, I was bruised and sore for a week. He got told very nicely what an idiot he was.

I did not say I have loads of orgasms, and in fact my personal experience is that I do not. I am more focused on providing a service ( and also it takes ages to make me orgasm!) so I tend to fake it at work.

I also did not say it was empowering. I will not deny that it can be a huge boost to my confidence, but only in a superficial way. I prefer to find empowerment in my personal life rather than work. I will say however, that being self employed has always felt good, but I think this would be true if I were in any industry.

I am not here to say that working as a prostitution is a bed of roses. As I have already said, it i not a job that everyone could or should do. What I am saying is that choosing to be a sex worker is a valid, non-damaging choice for some women, and there is no shame in enjoying it.

Whether you like it or not, independent and willing sex workers are everywhere!

What did you hate most about it?
Well there's sitting around worrying if you'll get picked from the lineup, and being orgasmic about it when you're chosen I suppose.
There's an awful lot of waiting around on a 12 hour shift! (This is in sauna/massage/flats/escort agencies)

Strictly oral without a condom was the first i came across in a house, and owo meant to conclusion if the client wanted so cum-in-mouth.
