Chores: who does what in the modern family home?

We asked nearly 1,000 working mothers about the distribution of tasks in their homes. Of the 54 chores we listed, women are chiefly responsible for 36 of them in most families, 15 are roughly shared, and men primarily take responsibility for three of the tasks: taking the bins out, changing lightbulbs and DIY.
