“Not all policy is scientific” is one of the weakest pro-gender arguments I’ve heard yet. It is clearly admitting that the speaker believes it’s fine for policy to be unevidenced.
Yes, the lad meant sex not gender - which is clear at the end when he says there are 2 genders male and female and anything else is personal identity. But fair play to him, he’s under 18 and has grown up with the all-pervasive gender ideology reigning supreme, I applaud him sticking to his convictions even if his terminology was blurred. Also very impressed how calm and concise the young lad was compared to the teacher, a grown adult who I guess is experienced and handling ‘disruptive behaviour’ (not that this was) - the teacher was incredibly flustered and came across pretty aggressively in his tone & hand gestures to a pupil.
