It’s astounding that Hayden would do something this dim so soon after dear Adrian “blew the bloody doors off” the TRA bunker by drawing attention to Posie’s campaign. Seriously, does TERF blocker also mute links to the Streisand effect?

TerfedOff · 01/10/2018 17:24

This should be interesting.

It's going to bring a lot of things into public debate.

KatVonGulag · 01/10/2018 17:25

I'll support any crowd funder he starts. He shouldn't be penalised for standing up to these bullies

UpstartCrow · 01/10/2018 17:25

Whats that thing where someone thinks they are more adept than they really are? Sort of like imposter syndrome but the other way round?

ChrysanthemumsAreMums · 01/10/2018 17:26

Oooh good. I'd like to hear what SH has to say. And how SH says it

AsAProfessionalFekko · 01/10/2018 17:26

I CBA to read the rantings of that gasbag. Is this person also Giuliana?

treaclesoda · 01/10/2018 17:26

Bet Graham Linehan is quaking in his boots. Hmm

AssassinatedBeauty · 01/10/2018 17:26

Empty vessels and all that...

I think that the more of these ridiculous and aggressive cases there are in court the more ground these TRAs lose to gender critical people. It shows them up clearly for what they are.

OvaHere · 01/10/2018 17:26

This should get interesting.

How did Graham doxx them? They aren't anonymous on twitter, as far as I understand they were alleging they had legal qualifications that they don't which is what Graham highlighted.

Then Hayden went after his wife.

Have I missed something?

ChrysanthemumsAreMums · 01/10/2018 17:27

Yes, lots in the public domain about SH.

FoldyRoll · 01/10/2018 17:28

A press release and #20 #tweet #long #thread from an account with 1k followers? HmmBiscuit

TheCraicDealer · 01/10/2018 17:29

Interesting timing given that carry on with Posie earlier.

Cattenberg · 01/10/2018 17:29

UpstartCrow, I think it's the Dunning-Kruger effect.

GulagsMyArse · 01/10/2018 17:29

Fucks sake, own goal, or what

Chocolala · 01/10/2018 17:29

Does Hayden always talk about themselves in the third person? Or is there some other ‘Hayden’?

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/10/2018 17:30

How did Graham doxx them

I believe that Hayden feels that by retweeting tweets that had screenshots etc of Hayden's old businesses, that were then apparently picked up by the media that Linehan doxxed them.

TBH I found their statement quite hard to follow so I could be wrong.

OvaHere · 01/10/2018 17:32

Thanks for the explanation.

Businesses and who has owned them is public info though. Hmm

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/10/2018 17:32

Does Hayden always talk about themselves in the third person

I suspect that with so many alter egos it can be difficult to keep track of which one is speaking...

I hope the press do pick up Hayden's statement though, and go through it line by line

Well, there were about three identities iirc, so...

Yet another spectacular own batshit goal in the making for the TRAs. Be interested to see how Hayden thinks info in the public domain compares with maliciously doxxing the wife of a TV writer who criticises you.

heresyandwitchcraft · 01/10/2018 17:38

Holy shit.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/10/2018 17:43

This Times article could be considered relevant:

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/father-ted-writer-graham-linehan-says-the-trans-activist-stephanie-hayden-is-dangerous-troll-6pwrg9p68

Can the experts tell me, is Hayden's Twitter thread and court case a good example of narcissistic rage?

This will Peak Trans the nation.

Good idea! We need to see this in court.

heresyandwitchcraft · 01/10/2018 17:47

For no reason whatsover, I am thinking of the story of John Brinkley, a quack who claimed to be a medical doctor that promoted transplanting goat testicles into humans. He had a huge radio following, even ran for mayor in the US, but was brought down by suing his opponent for libel after he got called a "quack".
The jury eventually agreed with the person who called Mr Brinkley a quack, and this was all proven in the court for the public record. After which a whole bunch of lawsuits followed.

No idea why that's popped into my head...

ReplyAll did a great piece on the story:
