The erasure of lesbians by the transcult - 'How to have lesbian sex with a transwoman' NSFW

This is an article explaining (graphically!) how a lesbian should have sex with a person with a penis. So a man.

www.autostraddle.com/how-to-have-trans-woman-lesbian-sex-with-a-penis-414839/amp/

This is part of a series called Lesbian Sex 101: "Employment of the term “lesbian sex” in this post uses “lesbian” as an adjective to describe sex between two women or people who identify with that experience, regardless of the sexual orientation of the two people involved."

So basically, emphatically not lesbian sex, given that lesbian sex is sex between two biological women who don't have penises.

Could there be a more mansplainy title than 'how to have lesbian sex with a transwoman'?

Also...
Trans women who haven’t had surgery have a chance of getting their partners pregnant, so keep that in mind.

Hang on, I thought transwomen were actual women, like every other woman. When, in this entire history of womanhood, has one woman got another woman pregnant?

TeaEnjoyingRadientFeminist · 11/05/2018 10:25

I bet the men that are so quick to say 'live and let live' will start paying attention when the 'Lesbian' porn they search for features two penises, some five o'clock shadow and precisely zero vaginas. Hmm

Potplant2 · 11/05/2018 10:30

I read that article yesterday vomit

Apart from it being ALL ABOUT THE MALE it concentrates on how to avoid triggering his dysphoria, the poor thing, while totally ignoring the fact that for many lesbians and other women having to cup a penis and balls IS GOING TO BE TRIGGERING in itself. Cos women don’t matter, of course.

Many of us lesbians have had sexual contact with men and know full well how to give a man pleasure with our hands or mouths. We. Just. Don’t. Want. To.

For some of us that’s because dealing with a penis is triggering and for some of us it’s because we prefer not to. Personally it’s somewhere between the two for me.

Plenty of women do want sex involving penises, so good luck to them. Just stop picking on the tiny minority of us who don’t.

KittyKlaws · 11/05/2018 10:36

Trans lesbians and their partners can have sex in so many fun ways that do involve their penis and testicles, but don’t necessarily trigger dysphoria.

Well, I'm sure that is a positively thrilling prospect for a lesbian.

Hands up who thinks the author misunderstands what the word lesbian means?

Potplant2 · 11/05/2018 10:38

I don’t think it’s a misunderstanding, I think it’s a wilful colonisation and erasure of the meaning of the word.

TERFragetteCity · 11/05/2018 10:39

It isn't a misunderstanding. It is a deliberate attempt to shag lesbians. And to guilt them into sleeping with these penis bearers (previously called men). Nothing new there! Men have been trying to shag lesbians since the dawn of time as they do not like being told no.

FermatsTheorem · 11/05/2018 10:42

The whole website seems a bit bonkers. I'm filing it under the "men tell women how they ought to like having sex..." heading, because the whole thing smacks of a male fantasist so wrapped up in his own view of what sex ought to be like that he can't see other people might do it differently. So there's articles on ass-licking, and articles on how to suck your girlfriend's strap-on (in the literal sense of a dildo in a harness, not some weird euphemistic reference to a trans-identifying male's penis) because after all, why wouldn't you want to make lesbian sex look exactly like heterosexual sex or male homosexual sex? Especially if you were actually a man who thought lesbian sex was really about women putting on a performance in order to be watched by men.

Bonkers.

HotRocker · 11/05/2018 11:09

I read this article yesterday and I found it very triggering, mainly of my gag reflex.
The thing about lesbian sex for a start is, it doesn’t involve a penis, or a person who has a penis. Why do people with penises find this so hard to understand?
Lesbian erasing trans-activist coercing homophobes, or LETCH maybe? Just off the top of my head like.

UpstartCrow · 11/05/2018 11:11

Lets name this for what it is; homophobic conversion therapy.

SporadicSpartacus · 11/05/2018 11:17

That’s just straight up homophobia, isn’t it?

I’m bi, I like sex with penises and vulvas. Maybe even both at the same time. The sex described in this article sounds joyless, narcissistic and without any consideration for the female participant. Don’t fancy any of that. They need to leave lesbians alone. Lesbian sex works fine without penis involvement.

gendercritter · 11/05/2018 11:21

To my mind this is so revealing.

There are so few lesbians out there. Being female and homosexual is so rare. So why do they present such a problem to men? It makes them look lilke a bunch of passive aggressive incels who take it as a personal affront that a tiny number of women absolutely definitely don't want to sleep with them.

Datun · 11/05/2018 11:26

I bet it took him all day to write. What with all the trips to the kitchen sink for rehydration and to collect another box of tissues.

KittyKlaws · 11/05/2018 11:29

Indeed. I was being (unsuccessfully) facetious.

HotRocker · 11/05/2018 11:42

Why is it so important for them to have sex with women who identify as lesbian? There are plenty of women in the world who like having sex with people who have penises. If they themselves want to identify as lesbian then it’s nothing to do with me, but it is possible for lesbian to have sex with a woman who does not identify as lesbian. They are just so obsessed with validating themselves as women that nothing less than having sex with a woman who is only attracted to women will suffice. Pure narcissism. I want to be the most womanly of all women and go into women’ space and be in charge of telling all other women how to do womaning my way.

GladAllOver · 11/05/2018 11:50

I can't remember the first part, but there was a limerick that ended
"... who does what and to whom?"

I got lost after the first couple of paragraphs, trying to follow from the descriptions what actual sex the participants are supposed to be.

Surely the whole thing could be replaced by one sentence -

"Consenting people can enjoy sex in whatever way they like"

PollyBanana · 11/05/2018 11:53

I'm just trying to scoop my brains back into my skull after my head exploded

leyat · 11/05/2018 11:56

I recommend to everyone who is up for it, to contact local MP's/MSP's etc about Stonewall regarding their anti lesbian stance that is helping foment the sexual harassment and coercion of lesbian women and indeed homophobia.

I asked Stonewall Scotland if they would give their support to women who are exclusively same sex attracted and they refused to do so, despite stating in their funding blurb that they support all LGBT people 'without exception'. In other words they secure funding, including government funding, based on a fraudulent claim. They are now a LGBT organisation that finds exclusive same sex attraction as inherently objectionable and they should not be given funding so long as they hold this view.

I plan to include this in something I am working on with some other women in relation to the Scottish govts proposals re the GRA, but the more people who contact their constituency representatives re this, the better.

HotRocker · 11/05/2018 12:01

Are we seeing the same sort of campaign against gay men? No, of course we aren’t, because men have the right to say no.

QuentinSummers · 11/05/2018 12:08

Someone on twitter has suggested this thread is transphobic Hmm
Because implying lesbians need lessons in how to pleasure penis isn't homophobic at all
I hope it will illustrate what trans politics is actually about.

HotRocker · 11/05/2018 12:14

Ok i’ve just looked at another thread and it would seem that now they are starting on the gay men. Let us see how this one plays out. If the gay men don’t like it and get on board then it can only be a good thing. Let’s have some male allies shall we.
I’ve noticed that the trans-lobby are now trying to turn gay into a gender instead of a sexuality.
I thought that after section 28 and all the homophobia I grew up with, that when I came out it would be easier. How wrong I was. Looks like we are going to have to fight all over again.

HotRocker · 11/05/2018 12:25

Ok i’m a bit slow. Disregard my last post, or the first line of it at least. The second part still stands.

SporadicSpartacus · 11/05/2018 12:26

... how. How is gay a gender.

Any links to read up on this new peak of woke-ness?

It’s like a rabbit hole of increasing bonkersness.
