I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

Oooh a new thread. I was wondering if somebody would start one. How is Newboy Cozie?

Kibobear · 14/10/2017 07:41

Waves to NewboySmile

cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 16:38

Ha. Little blighter had a wash on the bed but has now slunk off somewhere. (I don’t think the door to the basement is open so I guess he’s not mousing. )

Allergictoironing · 14/10/2017 16:59

So he's getting more comfortable with being on the bed now, as I've not seen mine wash is they are worried about anything. Smile

cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 17:10

Oh I’m still The Creature. He’s holding fast to that.

cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 20:03

I’ve just been given cats’ abuse. (Twice.) No spontaneous treat generation.

RubbishMantra · 14/10/2017 21:01

But cat abuse is so musical cozie!

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 22:03

Trouble is that he doesn’t modulate his voice at all. Everything he says is ........full on. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 14/10/2017 23:21

Yay!

Siamese make an unholy racket - Merlin, Clapham's Venerable Institution, can be heard requesting his daily Dreamies not just at but in the tube station, down on the deep platform. He's a good 5 minutes away at ground level. Newboy might calm down soon.

Mr C has sneezed again, is keeping close to me, and has just done a big jump in his sleep. Not eating as much as usual. I am vetting him, even tho he is purry when patted.

How goes the boiler pot-boiler M - here for support/moaning if required. No point being Zen about it, white goods are a vile curse to us all - they should give you instructions on how to rant for 24 hours solid in the manual.

C are you managing any sort of social life at all round Newboy's routine?

cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 23:44

Nope. On hold for the duration. Grin

NoSquirrels · 15/10/2017 09:08

Slow but noticeable progress then - Thread 3, and he'll sit & wash in the bed and talk to you, this acknowledging The Creature as a necessary evil...

Lanaorana2 · 15/10/2017 12:01

Bad luck eh Grin tho I expect Dbro is still trying to come for Xmas, bearing sacks of gifts for Newboy. Wink I'm on Dbro's side, when it comes to your cooking I wd be kicking the door down on the 25th.

Mr C was very naughty in the night. Despite double bedtime sweets, he made a massive fuss at 2am, tearing round flat, smashing what treasured keepsakes he could, and kicking shit out of the new fridge. Screams to raise the dead etc. Finally I got him back into bed, but he insisted on sleeping next to the bag of sweets. Wanted another Lidl chew - he doesn't do it for the Waitrose ones.

I didn't give in - it was 230 am - he passed out snoring and I missed my appt oversleeping.

cozietoesie · 15/10/2017 23:01

Oh Dear. Sad

RubbishMantra · 16/10/2017 10:22

Well all I can say is thank goodness you're not posting this on AIBU, Lana. The cute li'l thug...

How was your night with Mr. Shoutypants, cozie? I took some lovely photos of MCat being abandoned and showing off his ginormous toe beans to post for your amusement. Dunno how to post pictures directly from phone though, so will pop them on when lappy gets back from menders.

Lanaorana2 · 16/10/2017 10:39

He was very, very good last night. I put my head on the pillow and he wedged my face down with one back leg, rolled onto his back and stuffed the other leg up my nose. This by way of invitation to The Belly. Lovely cuddle ensued, nose tweaked if I looked like I was falling asleep before end of booked session. Armpits, ears, chin and tum all stroked senseless, rumbly snoring till dawn.

He also had KFC and ate it v neatly in his box.

RubbishMantra · 16/10/2017 11:44

That reminds me, Waitrose have an offer on salted caramel Stolli. Prices slashed from £21 to £17. Delicious with ginger beer.

cozietoesie · 16/10/2017 13:11

Mr Soutypants yelled (a lot) at 07.00 - clearly a toe in the water because he’s never done it before. I didn’t respond. Grin

cozietoesie · 16/10/2017 13:11

Shoutypants

Lanaorana2 · 16/10/2017 14:21

Another march forward for lady and pet!

By which I mean the vodka :)

Not really :) :) Morning howls are a good sign. But when are you going to get any sleep?eeeeed

Lanaorana2 · 16/10/2017 14:22

sorry that last bit was mr C protesting you don't neeeeeed any sleep.

cozietoesie · 16/10/2017 14:35

Sleep?? What’s that? Grin

We have serious winds tonight (ex-Ophelia) so I shall likely be up.

Allergictoironing · 16/10/2017 14:48

Be reasonable, his last night time meal is not long after midnight isn't it? Which means he's not eaten for SEVEN WHOLE HOURS - clearly you are starving the poor innocent little kitty!

He can just pretend he’s on the Savannah and there are no wildebeest in view. (I’m not at my best in the morning. Wink)

cozietoesie · 16/10/2017 14:59
