I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

Call the Feds on the brute. :)

Call the Feds on the brute. :)

Allergictoironing · 18/10/2017 19:21

If you asked me about Dreamies, I'd ask which ones - the living room pack, the bedroom pack or the kitchen store packs. I'm not allowed to go to bed without treating the masters, or get out of bed in the morning without getting the sweeties out!

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 00:22

I receive a complaint if he arrives on the bed and discovers that there’s been no spontaneous generation on the coverlet.

Lanaorana2 · 19/10/2017 09:40

Well, there's only one solution there. Could you put them on the bed when you get into it, so he finds them in the night?

I hope Dbro has recovered from his tactlessness and bought Newboy a present.

TheLongRider · 19/10/2017 09:46

I assume he's complaining rather in the manner of the lack of turn down service including a chocolate on the pillow in a 5* hotel.

Kibobear · 19/10/2017 10:46

I'd like my bed covers to spontaneously produce treats Grin

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 13:50

I (ill-advisedly) went downstairs leaving part of my lunch (tongue salad with mayonnaise) upstairs and unguarded.

I’d forgotten what it was like to have a young, fast and food-obsessed cat around. Grin

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2017 14:06

Has your lunch been nibbled at?

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 14:06

Somewhat! Grin

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2017 14:11

Ah. More a large mouthful then Grin
Ollie steals scrambled eggs and anything sour cream flavour Confused

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 14:15

Newboy is now back in his room after receiving an admonishment. Very low profile.

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 14:50

He’s just been given two Dreamies ‘on coverlet’ and is having a little wash. Smile

Lanaorana2 · 19/10/2017 18:16

Long rider Grin Grin

Mr C had egg for his lunch too! Also thieved! He is fat as a barrel and Getting On but boy do they move when required.

TheLongRider · 19/10/2017 18:35

Maybe we should start a separate thread, "Things my cat has stolen!"

We've had some audacious thefts over the years, a side of smoked salmon, from a buffet, marzipan balls from a Christmas cake, sausages from under a lit grill. One cat learned how to open the fridge and would nick the butter and leave tooth marks in the cheddar cheese...

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 18:57

....learned how to open the fridge.....

Oh My. Shock That’s my final redoubt.

TheLongRider · 19/10/2017 19:52

My parents had a child lock on the fridge.Grin

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2017 20:04

My friend has just taught his dog "bring dad a beer" Grin
Dog opens fridge and brings a beer bottle to him

Lanaorana2 · 19/10/2017 20:13

Funnily enough, Mr C is getting quite civilised. Last night I made ready to enjoy yellow-sticker corned beef and crackers for supper. He sat by the plate looking at it but did not steal - i was on phone. He just licked the butter a bit.

Finally I hung up and prepared to sink my teeth in. The moment I did, a paw flew out and grabbed a slice - and I reprimanded him. I actually said Oh Honestly, can't I eat a single mouthful in my own house and....the paw retreated, he blinked lovingly at me and sat back down.

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 20:15

I’m relieved that you can actually get locks for fridges! Grin

cozietoesie · 19/10/2017 21:12

Fireworks have started. I guess I’m going to find out how he reacts. Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/10/2017 21:51

Already? It's about time we made them pro only.

How is he coping with them?.

Allergictoironing · 19/10/2017 21:52

Ah yes, fireworks. They started here tonight, loads of very loud bangs right near my house - Boycat just pricked his ears up, raised his head for a second, & went back to drooling & purring while & tickled his tummy. I was SO proud of him Smile

Lanaorana2 · 19/10/2017 23:03

Got some here too. Mr C asked for an extra meal.

cozietoesie · 20/10/2017 00:19

Any excuse, eh?

(He didn’t seem to notice them. I think that The Creature is far scarier. Grin)
